Well, you can't write Bale off just yet. I reckon with his Batman days gone, he needs something else to sink his teeth into so it's possible "he'll be back!". Not that he's desperate for the work of course, but it's certainly a good series to continue with in the right direction.

He's not one for backing away from projects at the first sign of trouble, so I hope 'Termaintor 5' will  be a solid installment to bring him back.

Well, is it to much to think that, with Batman done, Bale could be back in the running for Bond 7?

Do you think he'd sign up for another franchise?

I wouldn't complain, mind. But it seems his characters are always very deep with heaps of moral/physical/mental ups and downs so would he be too intense as James Bond, or find him to "cardboard"?

Saying that, with what DC has brought to the board, Bale could easily carry on the humane side to 007.

Went on twitter this morning. Saw that the two top trending terms where "Star Wars" and "J.J. Abrams". Hoped against hope that the two things were unrelated. They weren't.

Saw that and I just read this. We'll see what comes of it.

Not really a Hercules fan myself

Paramount & MGM Studios announced that Brett Ratner will direct a new Hercules movie starring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. A release date is set for August 8, 2014. This version of the classic Greek hero is based on the graphic novel “Hercules: The Thracian Wars.” The series is described as a “revisionist take on the classic myth and is set in a world where the supernatural does not exist.”

Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol Movie Could Start Pre-Production This Year

The new Dan Brown book could be good. Not really excited for The Lost Symbol film as the other two haven't been very good. Although Angels & Demons is better than The Da Vinci Code.

Super Bowl ad for Fast & Furious 6. My hopes for this film being just as good as Fast Five slowly sank.

Wow, it looks a little corny like Oceans 11 but a lot of fun. Can't wait to see it.

Never got into any of the 'F&F' films, so I'm not missing out too much but surprised they're cranking out a 6th! At least it's evident they're not heading down the 'Police Academy' route with sequels and their next film, the 7th, will be the worst film ever!

I like the F&F movies. I would rank them:

Fast Five

The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift

Fast & Furious

2 Fast 2 Furious

The Fast and the Furious

I would rank the 1st higher, but all of the car mechanics and jargon and expertise (whatever want to call it) is all wrong. They get far better with their knowledge in each of the following films.

Because that's what constitutes entertainment journalism in today's world.  It seems like reporters don't feel like they're doing their jobs correctly unless they're spoiling the movies for everyone else.

With regards to Fast and Furious 6, judging from the trailers that have been released, I think the only reason that I'm looking forward to it is Gina Carano's involvement.  The trailer looks to be the same nonsense we saw in Fast and Furious, only on a heightened scale, but I'm looking forward to seeing Carano progress as an actress and to see her involved in more fight scenes.

I agree tdalton, the ony real interest I have in the film is Gina Carano. Been a fan of hers since her MMA days.

I'll see F&F6 because I've seen the rest of them, but I do agree that the film does not appear to be up to the quality of Fast Five.

I just really enjoy these films because I'm able to get a laugh out of the parts that I don't like or seem super corny to me like when Hobbs meets Dom in the trailer, just makes me laugh its like there trying to hard or something I don't know. I also get a nostalgic feel watching them.

"You got the best crew in the world in front of you, gives us a reason to stay."-Like shut up Dom, you dumb dumb

I agree with you guys Gina Carano is a great catch and I can't wait to see her kick butt, I also like Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and look forward to seeing them together. Regarding the SPOILER: I love it.

It seems like to tie with the new 'Tomb Raider' video game, there will be a new 'Tomb Raider' film reboot, with a younger Lara Croft...

I'm all for it, even though I enjoyed the first set of films. Only question is who will play Lara Croft? I have my 3 choices. It'll be interesting to see who they choose.

I am guessing that whoever plays Lara Croft should be in their 20s and close to 30 years old range

Camilla Luddington will be, most likely, at the top of the list of actresses they consider for the part.  She did several years worth of motion capture and voice acting for the new game, and I'd imagine that she'd definitely be included on the short list.

As for who should play the part, Luddington and Gemma Arterton are the first two who come to my mind.
