A new version of the trailer apparently. Literally nothing new as far as I can see. It's been uploaded a few times on Youtube and marked as 'alternate'....

Well to be fair, it is a sequence we know next to nothing about, so at least for me there is some mystery as to what's going on in the scene. My only guess is that Bond is walking with the briefcase and gets asked to go into another room where a punch up occurs.

I went to BFI IMAX this evening to see Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark on the big screen. It was brilliant!

Anyway, before Indy came on they played the trailer for Skyfall. I hadn't seen the trailer for SF in cinemas so far but the sound quality and screen size, even just for a 2 minute trailer, almost blew my head off!

And to think i'm going to see 2hr 25 mins of the new Bond film in the same screen, has increased my excitement ten fold. The PTS, the Underground sequence, the assault on Skyfall lodge...on a screen measuring 26x20 metres....might have to see the doctor afterwards!

My dvd is called Indiana Jones and... as well, but it makes more sense without it, because Indiana Jones is a raider too.

That's a bit different though. STAR WARS was supposed to be a modern serial like BUCK ROGERS and FLASH GORDON from the start; Lucas talked about several films, something between nine and twelve if memory serves. Only nobody believed him then and the concept of 'prequels' wasn't invented yet.

I don't think 'Indiana Jones' was ever supposed to become a series during RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK production, so nobody bothered to brand it INDIANA JONES then. It hardly makes a difference, people talked about 'that Indiana Jones movie' even back in the day.

Exactly - Lucas can try and convince us differently, but they are the titles the films were given.

Well, I don't know if someone noticed that and wrote it, but I noticed something. As maybe you know I'm italian, so rarely I see films in english. Today I saw DAD in English and there is a line that make me smile. When Q presents the "Vanish" to 007, he says "You must be joking", exactly the same words Bond says to Q in Skyfall. And quite the same in Goldfinger.

I'd forgotten this until a few minutes ago but I was at a pretty smart black tie industry event this week, and between the auction and raffle, they rolled the SKYFALL trailer on the big screen. Not particularly sure why. Nonetheless, it got a staggering reaction. It's getting everywhere.
