Hell, they even got Bond shooting his Walther in time with the beats...how much attention to detail do we have now?!
And the coffins...how eerie and chilling....!

I've watched this about 5 times now and am blown away by how this looks. I don't think we have seen a Bond film with this level of cinematography. I'm tempted to see this in the IMAX format, knowing full well that this wasn't shot with an IMAX camera.
BTW, I sporting about 3 days growth of facial hair. I wonder if Naomie Harris can shave me with that straight razor...

Wallpaper for anyone?
I don't think we can link to screenshots AoS...see Jim's previous post!
Nice image though, glad it was in the teaser.

At around 1:16 there's a brief shot of what looks like Craig strangling his own clone in a vat of Irn Bru. I'm curious about that.
Great eye mate, I miss that. Really need to know what is going on there.

Obviously, gorgeous cinematography. That's the main takeaway from this. The shot of the target and the nighttime China images were especially luminous and rich. Skyfall is probably going to spoil us for cinematography.
Interesting that there were no clear shots of Bardem, though presumably he's the wild-haired silhouette walking away from the conflagration.
The question session is clearly not a simple briefing or perfunctory checking out. It has a strong psychiatric vibe, not just from the body language but because Bond has that sweatshirt on. There's something recuperative about that sweatshirt, especially when contrasted with a three-piece suit. It's as if Bond is slightly unhinged and needs to be dressed comfortably.

Thanks, I'm not sure if it's posing as a problem or not. it's just a link and not that actual image I have with my post. I'll edit it if it becomes a problem.
No disrespect towards Jim and his post at all.

Going to be brutal here - I know I'm up against some fan-boys so will get struck down here - but that was as about as generic as a bunch of spanners! It should have screamed "BOND IS BACK" after his long break for the 50th Anniversary. As it was, it might as well have been any run-of-the-mill Jason Statham vehicle (not helped by one in particular lacking element replaced with the obligatory sound-scapes and cliched thuds). Let's focus on the positives - the cinematography is amazing, it gives nothing away, the cast is stellar. But to the average movie goer, there isn't going to be too much of excitment here that says "Bond" to them. At the end of the day, it won't matter so long as the film is good - but as a teaser it failed to ignite (for me anyway).
I've never seen a Jason Statham film that looked like that.
I get what you are saying, but if they convince people this is a good film, the Bond part takes care of itself. And let's not forget the teaser poster goes over board in the Bond iconography, so it's not like people won't know there is a new Bond film.

Okay, it's 4am here in NYC. I'd normally be asleep but the baby woke me up around 2:30.

That's funny, for me it was the granddaughter at 340. And I agree the cinematography looks amazing....Well time to go back the sleep and dream of Naomie.

Killer Elite had great cinematography, but not Deakins great.
