Hey fellas. Hold the spoilers please. Do not mention climatic scenes in particular locations, or a very particular building exploding. Some people want to see the story unfold on the screen. There is a spoiler section for a reason.

That's why there's a "spoiler-free" Skyfall teaser discussion thread...

Great to see it. Love the shot of Bond in the streets of London.

Too many night shots for me, and it's a bit generic. But I do agree that it looks like the movie has a proper plot this time.

Would have liked to have seen Craig telling a big cat to "Hiss Off" though.

"Judging by the dramatic lighting, and the way Bond steps into it, I wouldn’t be surprised if this was our first look at Bond in Skyfall. The lighting fits in with the Cafe scene explained earlier, which is meant to be the Pre Title Sequence".

May be it's the end of the PTS, no? With the beginning of the titles.

No, that's not how the PTS ends. ;)

...and a big splash.

The answers are in the spoilers threads, and also in the summary posted on the main CBn page. :)

Just got back from my second viewing of Men In Black 3 (yes, I enjoyed it that much...) and of course the Skyfall teaser showed...the first time I saw it in the theater, there wasn't much of a reaction from the audience...but this time someone whispered out "YES!! AWESOME!!" Its always great to hear the general public getting excited for an upcoming Bond film!! :)

I loved the teaser, watched it over 15 times now.

But I just went back on youtube and watched the other teasers for CR and QoS (I think they were teasers not trailers, roughly the same length anyway) and I have to say... this is probably the worst out of the 3.

I loved it, thought it was great, just the other trailers are better.

It beats the other trailers in the amazing cinematic shots criteria, but not in the dialogue and overall bond kick butt criteria.

I was suprised to see the poll results... 30% of people chose the last 2 options... sigh.
But more than 50% of the rest thought it was the best. only 5% for the worst. I urge people to watch them again and tell me this is the best. Surely at least you think the CR trailer was better...

Do you guys think the 'Country? England. Gun? Shot.' etc scene was filmed specifically for the trailer? I can't really see how this scene would really fit into the movie.

Pretty sure it's in the film.

A question for our London Bond fans. Where were these two London shots filmed?

http://commanderbond.../2012/06/15.jpg is this Bond running away from Big Ben? What street?

And this,

http://commanderbond.../2012/06/11.jpg Is he standing on The Ministry of Defence (Old War Office Building) ? I believe the Thames should be to his left and he's looking South.

1. Running along Whitehall away from Westminster underground station and Parliament Square, north towards the Ministry of Defence.

2. It's the rooftop of the Department of Energy & Climate Change on Whitehall Place, but it could conceivably be doubling for another department in the actual movie. You're quite correct that he's looking south towards the Palace of Westminster, and the Thames is to his left.

No problem. Just ask for any advice :) I think SKYFALL will do great things for Bond fans in terms of carving out lots more recognisable locations in London to visit.

Mrs. Tallon and I tracked down a bunch of London locations last month, following our Nassau trip. They're not hard to find!
