During the interrogation scene, is Bond bearded or clean-shaven? Might give an indication of where in the film this scene takes place.
(I've read the previous posts and didn't see this question posed. Forgive me if it's already been addressed and I overlooked the answer.)
Thanks.

Agreed. In answer to the earlier question, I'm 90% sure Bond will be bearded or with stubble. It doesn't sound to me like an interrogation. More like a psychological evaluation.

The teaser trailer. Still a bit early for the major theatrical trailer. Is the teaser trailer releasing on the 25th of May, or is it the actual trailer?

Of course every studio is different, but I reckon August, the peak summer movie month and 2 months before the release.
I think....don't quote me!

I reckon the full trailer will be around...August time? Judging by current movies and trailers, say 'TDKR', the full trailer is out just over 2 months before the release.

Just quoted you. Now you'd best deliver.
But I wouldn't be surprised if we had one in July, attached to the film about that embittered orphan what dresses like a bat.

I think, as 'TDKR' is on copies of 'The Avengers' for mass distribution, having 'Skyfall' on copies of 'TDKR' would reach so many, it would be a good one to have. I suppose 2 months later from the teaser isn't too bad for a full one.

Drat. I better call Babs and Mike and have a word then!

I'm not sure what comes out in August/ september. Anything worth attaching the trailer to? Anything that will reach a large audience that is? Bourne perhaps?

Sony Pictures Total Recall with Colin Farrell will have it. Same with Bourne as it too is a spy/espionage thriller film. Most likely Dark Knight Rises too. But I guarantee it will have the theatrical trailer attached to Total Recall.

There's no one consistent formula anymore.

If it was for something like TDKR prologue, which people definitely would go to the cinema just to see regardless of film, I'd see more sense in it. Even that was only attached to show what they could do with IMAX, as the film attached to was M:I GP another high profile release.

It's not that they don't have faith. It's just that every little bit helps, and if they have a piece of high-demand content content like the Skyfall teaser attached, why not leverage it? I probably wouldn't have otherwise seen MIB3, but you can bet I'll be there opening weekend now. Congratulations, Sony.
But what if they’ve already show it on-line sometime between 21st and 25th, which they will do? Are you still going to go see MIB3?

Depends what I'm doing that week. It's not a movie I otherwise would have rushed out to see - but maybe.
Now, if you're Sony and releasing the teaser early hinges early on my answer as a fan sample - then yes, I am absolutely going to see MIB3 regardless of what you do, and the Skyfall trailer should be released tomorrow.

I'm naturally suspicious, but this one doesn't seem to work for me. If this individual had been sworn to secrecy for months, it doesn't seem to be logical for them to break their agreement and reveal their involvement now.
It's fan art gents.

Well, he made the fan art soon after the announcement and there were no images from it yet. And yes, he did say it was fan art made by him. I met the guy through MI6.

Of course, if we scream loud enough, they'll overload the theatrical trailer with it. So get screaming!

As long as the "Skyfall" teaser DOESN'T feature disco-funk like this goofy NSNA trailer, I'll be happy!! LOL

Well, they presumably have to pay a massive licensing fee every time they use the Bond theme in something. It goes to Monty Norman. So one less trailer using it is one less piece of marketing collateral that needs to pay that fee. Sony's certainly in a penny-pinching mode (given the record losses they posted today), so if their thinking is, "Save that money on the trailers and spend it on the film" (or specifically, licensing the Bond theme for the film), then I don't really mind.
Nonsense, Eon are not concerned with paying anyone for the use of the James Bond theme. They commissioned it and paid for it 50 years ago. It belongs to them to do with as they wish.
