Just wondering if anyone has a clue yet as to when the first trailer is coming. The last two films with Craig they released a small teaser trailer before filming wrapped up, so does anyone know if they'll do that for this one and when?

No news yet, I'm afraid. I guess there will be a teaser, but that's only a guess based on recent films.

An excellent question which we all have been asking... I myself would hope we would get a teaser say by the end of April..just a hope on my part. They've been shooting for 5 months and have plenty of material in the can to construct the first teaser..*crossing fingers* We just have to wait and wonder in the meantime..

Who knows, though. Maybe with the earlier filming schedule we'll get something sooner, but maybe not.

As I've said elsewhere, it'll likely be attached to Men in Black toward the end of May. I have my fingers crossed that they managed to work out a deal with Paramount to slip it into the reel for The Avengers, but it's doubtful. The only thing that got my hopes up was the trailer for The Avengers being attached to my viewing of 21 Jump Street, an MGM film, that made me wonder whether a compromise had been reached (in all likelyhood, it was the cinema that attached the trailer, but you never know, a Quantum trailer was attached to all of the prints of The Dark Knight that I saw, which is WB, so don't count it out!).

That makes - clearly - the most sense. I just hope Sony doesn't decide to hold it for Spider-Man if MIB3 is tracking amazingly and doesn't need the boost, or something.

I can't imagine that Men in Black 3 will track all that well. It looks horrendous, plus its a sequel arriving nearly a decade after the previous film in the franchise, which was abysmal as well. Also with Will Smith not being quite the box office draw he used to be, I can't imagine MIB3 doing anything other than mediocre business. MIB3 will need all the help it can get, including the SkyFall trailer being attached to it.

They have released a teaser trailer before on June 30 and definatly July. You can bet they will release 2 movie previews the shorter teaser trailer and the full movie trailer. Since SKYFALL is the 50th Anniversary movie, perhaps they will release a special movie trailer too. You will see a special Heineken beer commercial.

Oh, I agree completely. I think that the studios think, though, that they might be able to pull some traffic into the theater via certain trailers. That impact will most likely be minimal, and MIB3 will ultimately be considered a disappointment, if not an outright failure, at the box office. I just think that Sony's (or whoever is releasing the film) might try to help it in whatever way they can, knowing that they don't have a particularly good product on their hands.

The only people who will know that Skyfalls teaser is attached to MIB3 will be Bond fans. They won't announce it publicly and make sure everyone will know. So it probably won't help the box office in any way.

The majority of TDKR screenings will front it, I imagine. No reason they couldn't, cross-studio promo deals are made all the time.

The story is true. The teaser trailer for SKYFALL will be tagged to the previews before the feature presentation of Men In Black 3 on May 25 in movie theaters. It will appear on the Internet during the weekend.

Well they have been filming for quite some time. I think it's just that all we've seen is cars in London mostly. Isn't there only like a month left of shooting?
