In this Thread let's just give our ideas for future Titles. as well as a quick reference to where the title comes from.
No real hard fast rules. about the source it can be from any of the books (or if you want to do something that'll reference the previous run of Bond films (Dr. No- DAD) feel free.
My choice?
Eon Pictures Presents
Daniel Craig
as Ian Fleming's
James Bond 007
in
SHATTERHAND
The name is from the novel of You Only Live Twice and it was an alias that Blofeld used.
I think it would work well as a code-name of sorts for the head of the Quantum organization (perhaps that's Mr. White's true position he just acts as an underling)

SHATTERHAND is already there a few times.
Check it out - maybe the mods can merge topics.

I would imagine if they did people would be start comparing it to FRWL right away or at least the media would I would think.
Good thing it wasn't named, 'From The USSR With Love' or it might be dated.

and yet talking about Fiennes role in bond 24 when we don't know his role in bond 23 isn't too early?
and Hey I want the title in the Credits
Um...... does anyone know if his character is even killed off or not in this film?

I wonder if they will ever have another country in the title, like in 'From RUSSIA With Love.'

The only other Fleming title that has a loction in it is OO7 IN NEW YORK as one of the 4 short stories in the re-release of the novella OCTOPUSSY/THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS. I'm not really fond of that title. It sounds almost like HOW I SPENT MY SUMMER VACATION or someting just as bland.
The Craig Era has not used something with "GOLD" yet...
Golden Compass?
would anyone else like to see the return of the next bond film title at the ending credits of the current film? or is that a thing of the past? i like the counter on the website
does anyone know if they made those changes to the blu ray box set? if it says bond will return in the LTK credits in GE?
seems like they wont b/c now they can have a whole press conference for the bond title
i found the skyfall press conference wasn't to exciting expect for the fact its the return of 007 in 4 years and the girl in the red dress is smoking hot
I miss those. I even get a kick out of the end credits of TSWLM. I'm reminded that , "Oh yeah... switched gears on us, didn't they?"
It should be Fleming-esque and appropriate for the theme(s) of the film and its story. I still don't understand how the title Quantum of Solace had anything to do with the events or themes of the recent film. It just seemed to me it was tacked onto the screenplay because it was an available Fleming title.
The original book had to do with the arc of another character, not Bond. I think they made use of it pretty well.
Was watching Live and Let Die the other day; I was thinking that if it only it weren't such a memorable (and funny) line
NAMES ARE FOR TOMBSTONES
would be a great Bond title!
I like it.
The end credits could read, James Bond will return in Y'ALL TAKE THIS HONKY OUT & WASTE 'EM.

I'm aware of 007 in New York but I don't think they'll ever use it but maybe they'll use New York,.... I think I'm on to something here... now for something with N.Y...The only other Fleming title that has a loction in it is OO7 IN NEW YORK as one of the 4 short stories in the re-release of the novella OCTOPUSSY/THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS. EDIT
Or better yet something with England in it...
FOR KING & COUNTRY or
FOR QUEEN & COUNTRY : Might be a bad idea if the Queen were to kick it.
VALLEY OF SHADOWS : A chapter title from LALD
GOLDEN DRAGON : A restaurant outside the Bottoms Up Club in TMWTGG. And 'Quest' a film is about winning a golden dragon statue, Roger Moore has a role in it too.
PISTOLS AT DAWN : A throwback to TMWTGG
S.P.E.C.T.R.E. : Would make for a great come back story?
NEW YORK OPERATIVE or
OPERATION NEW YORK : Inspired by '007 In New York.'
KISS KISS : A club Bond runs into in THunderball

I'd just like to give a few titles that I have come up with. Most of them are chapter names from Ian Fleming novels, but there are some others too. By the way, if any of these have been said on this post before, my apoligies.
MY ENEMY'S ENEMY
BLACKPATCH
TERROR BY SEA
ROUGH JUSTICE
MULTIPLE REQUIEM
And finally...
NAKED WARFARE
Kidding, kidding!

Welcome FutureJamesBond! I also think their our some good chapter titles which they could use for a Bond film title but I don't think they ever will at least not any time soon IMO.

You mean From The Hildebran Risico of a Living Shatterhand Lady in New York Only. The Hildebrand Risico of a Shatterhand Lady in New York.
Where does Shatterhand come from? Blofeld's fake name in YOLT? (please avoid any spoilers, I haven't read that book yet).

On a less ridiculous note, I'm guessing they're done with the Fleming titles now, but my top preferences if they were to return for any form of influence would be A WHISPER OF HATE, SHATTERHAND or simply BLOFELD.
