Right - just about to start 'The Piasa Bird' and we now know what the heck is going on, just about. We still don't know what they were trying to hack into, though its likely a government mainframe, and we don't necessarily know who is doing it -

Leta is obviously the main Bond girl, and I've got the casting down in my head now, Michaela Conlin from Bones:

Either her or Liz Vassey who was on Tru Calling who I can't seem to find a picture of.

Not sure how Bond figured out it was The Union - but other than that, the second half has definitely ramped up the excitement of the novel.

Yeah - this was very prose Bond, not movie Bond, but I'm one of those who can't help but picture one of the movie Bonds when am reading Bond fiction - in your case, you got Brosnan, most of the time I picture Brosnan in the continuation novels.

I tried reading JAK, it's a bit of a struggle at the moment but am going to perservere.

Evan, congratulations, I read MTTS recently, and found it a very interesting Fan Fiction. I appreciate your deep knowledge (and understanding) of Fleming's mythical world, and of the narrative structures of his books. You really paid the "literary 007" a nice tribute. I'm looking forward to read your next one ! :-))
Cheers, MkB

Mr. A.,

Another fan author, Joyce Carrington suggested I check out your work. I liked it. The pages were about right for anyone to read. The storyline was intriguing. A bit of fencing and a Bond girl were tied well together. I liked the locations used being a Midwest guy myself. Truck travel down south while works did not feel necessary. Not all hideouts have to be coastal.

I will recommend this adventure to others. Thank you,
