I'd like him to be in Toronto - remember Corinne was Canadian - kicking some Quantum . I'm thinking like a huge car chase on the freeway or a foot chase in a skyscraper.

Corinne may have been Canadian, but she was a Canadian stationed in Russia, a country where a Quantum operative had significant mining interests, and the whole thig is a subplot that was resolved by the end of the film. Even if the Canadians have resolved their issues with her and the leak, they don't need Bond's help. It's more likely he'll go after Guy Haines, given that the man wields considerable political power.

I think Canada would be an interesting place for Bond to go for 20-30 minutes in the next film. Toronto or even Montréal, which has a very European style old section, could be intriguing locales. Someplace in the Rockies would be great.

I think Canada would be an interesting place for Bond to go for 20-30 minutes in the next film. Toronto or even Montréal, which has a very European style old section, could be intriguing locales. Someplace in the Rockies would be great.

Why not base it off of Bond's Canadian operation in TSWLM? It could probably work, and it'd still be Fleming!

I think it would be cool, this idea just came to me. A Bald man with a suit just gets off office job, has a suitcase and recieves a call on his cell, " What the hell, no you got me in deep enough already." There are then men in suits approaching him but he swiftly eludes them by going into public areas and is followed , around a city New York? His cell rings " No damnit I wouldn't know. Bond of course I wouldn't know where he is." He trys to light a cigarrette but if far to nervous and shaking. He lights it then bumps into a man and touches the cherry of the cigarrette to the man's suit by accident. " O sir I'm so sorry." "No problem just tell me where Bond is." The man turns aroun but has a knife lunged into him he falls to the ground and a police officer yells "halt!" and shoots one of the men the other one shoots the officer and a black car pulls up and he gets right in and escapes.

If Canada is used, it should be Vancouver. As someone who lives there, I can say there have been a number of news stories and things going on around here that could be connected to an organization like Quantum, or maybe if the release is 2010 (although I think that seems unlikely now), they could tie it to the Olympics.

But as for locations here that could be used, I'm thinking it'll be cool for a chase through the big library downtown, which could end with Bond on the roof fighting the villain and throwing him through the glass roof and down several stories to his death in the courtyard below. The last time I was in there, about a month ago, I took note and thought the idea would almost be perfect.

Or... why not a foot chase on the roof of Canada Place?

Just some ideas, I hate how when people think of a city in Canada, they automatically think of Toronto. So, if Bond comes to Canada, either in the PTS or the body of the film, it should be Vancouver.

I would only support Bond in Canada if Nathan Fillion were given a major role in the film.

I would like a PTS with action at the famous Opernball in Vienna. A dancing Bond would be nice since Connery was the only one so far.

A Bond PTS should IMO always be a mini adventure just finishing off some hinted at mission we never see in full like goldfinger or FYEO.

The rest of my idea remains the same except at the end the man takes the beaker out of the man's pocket then escapes in a car. That could be how the plot would be related to a bio-terror type story if the beaker was some sort of unkown disease/plague

I don't think QOS left you with any feeling of suspense at the ending to think it would carry on like that. They almost could have still added the orginal ending at the end of QOS. It's not like the film would have been too long.

Although I considered the beginning of Casino Royale one of the best in the series along with FRWL and OHMSS, because of the mood set, I would not mind watching a non-story related pre-title action sequence. In fact, just for nostalgia purposes, I would ask John Glen to direct the scene. Although inferior at driving a story, the man does know action.
