It's the PPK in the bathroom brawl but a P99 in Dryden's office.

Thanks, for the answer. It's the PPK in the bathroom brawl but a P99 in Dryden's office.
However, I'm still wandering ... is there another scene in CR where Bond use the PPK or he use it only in the bathroom brawl, in this movie??
What about the main title sequence is it a PPK or a P99??

Ugh! I hate the Walther PPK. I wish they would get rid of that damn gun for good.

perhaps its part of this Bond becoming 'bond' idea having him use the P99 before the PPK...I could be wrong.

You mean having him use the P99 after the PPK??!! Because the bathroom scene is the first Bond killing, so it happens before Dryden's killing and the rest of it.perhaps its part of this Bond becoming 'bond' idea having him use the P99 before the PPK...I could be wrong.

I'm glad the PPK is back, but it seems a bit strange that it suddenly just appeared back in Bond's holster after three films, with no explanation.
Oh well.

Three previous films? The only films relevant to the current Bond is CASINO ROYALE and QUANTUM OF SOLACE. In both films Bond used a PPK and a P99 so I don't see what's so strange about that.
