OCTOBER 30? The day before QoS hits the big screen? Now that is cruel! :)

Damnit!
So, what will I do on October 31? ;) Let's deal with this dilemma the good old way...
Heads: I'll stay at home to finish The Moment Before You Die.
Tails: I'll go to the cinema... and read The Moment Before You Die while watching QoS.
:( :)

So that gives me a month to finish up Count Diable and Troubleshooter. Should be doable, hopefully.

Once Bond hit the shallows later, he activated the anchor system from the control panel and, leaving the Sub-aqua Scooter safely concealed at a depth of ten meters between some rocks, he swam up calmly to the surface.
Again he looked around.
Satisfied, he swam the rest of the way and when he reached shore, quickly walked up the sand. He took cover beside some rocks further on and calmly waited for his contact...
Twenty minutes later and Bond couldn’t resist producing his packet of cigarettes from the water proof bag at his side.
He looked down at the packet for quite a while then lit one with cupped hands, concealing the flame of his lighter.
Cardinal mistake, James.
He inhaled deeply and instantly felt the sharp vice like pain in his chest.
‘Damn it!’ Bond hissed, swaying unsteadily and dropped the unfinished cigarette, stepping on it.
Those two bloody bullets had certainly kicked seven shades out of his lungs, he thought, not to mention his heart...
As the first signs of dawn broke through the black sky, a powerfully built Libyan in his early fifties, skin dark with a silver beard, appeared from the shadows of the rough growth opposite and walked calmly towards him.
He was wearing a long black robe, travel-worn, and turban. An AK47 assault rifle was slung across his shoulder, a sheathed sword at his side.
Salaam aghlikum, James Bond,’ he said. ‘Welcome back to Libya my friend.’

‘Four guards you said?’ Bond asked Kalava who was cooking something inside.
‘That’s right. And if you ask me, going up there alone is crazy.’
‘You’re the only truly sane man in a world gone bloody mad then,’ Bond said.
‘James, those guards are professional killers from the Hussari tribe. Men who would not hesitate cutting their own mother’s throat if the price was right.’
‘I’ll handle it.’
‘In your condition, my friend, I doubt it.’

Or tonight!

Chapter 1

This feels very Connery-esque and Stavros cuts a creepy figure in an Oded Fehr manner. The Colonel, our new M figure, is very Harry Pierce - but the voice in my head is very David Warner. Bond's near obsessive compulsion to destroy the Marcuzzi could become problematic as he pushes himself much further than his body is capable of going.

Interesting... Do all prostitutes speak French, monsieur? :(

About the ADULTS ONLY PLEASE part: I've always thought a wounded Bond could have the most Flemingesque of sex scenes, with that mix of pleasure and pain dear to old twisted Ian. And I have the feeling something like that is coming... :)

A Libyan girl with the name Sabiha called me Monsieur a couple of weeks ago when I bought her a coke back in a coffee shop in Tripoli :) and it stuck in my head I don't know why. Twisted minds and sordid dreams no doubt mon ami.

And with regards to pain, the mix of pleasure and violent sex...well, yes, expect a lot of it :(

What is Bond without them, eh :)

Mmmmh... Sorry, I'm not a cunning linguist: is "to buy a girl a coke" a naughty Maltese idiomatic expression? :(

Just posted Chapter 2. I must admit what I have written may be quite disturbing, violence wise that is. I will say it again with much emphasis this time:

ADULT READERS ONLY PLEASE

Certain details in this Fan Fiction novel are there solely for the interest of the passionate reader but descriptions of events and tactics and killing methods , not to mention certain sexual techniques, may prove dangerous if used by the uninitiated.

And this note is NOT, repeat NOT, here to lure in more readers in a play on their curiosity. This I assure you.

Just read it, and by chance I was listening to JS Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D Minor. I must say I found it a quite appropriate soundtrack for this chapter!

A man of taste, eh? ;)
I don't know the version by Jean-Michel Jarre, though, I'll have to give it a try.

A little question: where does the Hoda Korosu reference come from?

Well, apart from being a trained assassin myself, (I was trained in the fine arts of Hoda Korosu, Naked Kill, by a Japanese master Ninja who called himself Kenji Iwannakissu), you may want to look up (or better still take up) the game form of SHIBUMI - Fuseki, Sabaki, Seki, Uttegae, Shico and last but not least Tsuru no Sugomori

Should you fail there, try looking up Kishikawa Otake de Lhandes and Le Cagot

You may be asking though what is SHIBUMI?

It is a perfection that does not have to be bold, does not have to be perfect, pretty or conditioned, as opposed to being true as trueness should be in reality.
Such truth in your mind perceives what reality and existence actually means to you in that that reality becomes the sanctity of what you understand to be real.
It is an achievement, a discovery, a state of mind in that one lifts oneself higher than the dimensions of the life one leads and creates the perfect existence based on mind.

Naked Kill is that state of mind in which one can bring about death using practically everything one can find, say, in a room. Look around you and you will see that there are more objects around you that you can use to kill a man...Naked Kill.

OK... an art of improvisation, in a sense, I suppose?

* makes mental note: in the future, before accepting a rendezvous at midnight with a man, check if he's a trained assassin :) :( :) *
