Im resisting until the English version, but just hearing you say that has given me what can only be described as an enormous erection.Incredible trailer. QUANTUM OF SOLACE looks to be the most visually stunning Bond film we've ever had.

Have I just crossed the line?

(1) That person who said he saw the trailer on some survey, but couldn't remember much beyond the "damaged goods" line? He was right.
(2) This is going to be one drop-dead gorgeous film!
(3) The dialogue, which alone put CR on a level above any Bond movie in over a decade, looks to be equally sharp here.
(4) Daniel Craig WILL become as popular a Bond as Connery after this, if CR didn't already do the trick.
(5) Marc Forster for Bond 23!

No kidding.(2) This is going to be one drop-dead gorgeous film!
Do you speak Spanish?(3) The dialogue, which alone put CR on a level above any Bond movie in over a decade, looks to be equally sharp here.

Indeed. If the movie is as good as this trailer, EON better throw buckets of money at Forster and beg him to come back. Because it looks like his talent and skill did really make a difference.(5) Marc Forster for Bond 23!

Well Forster already said he's done so I doubt it.

The first 1:30 are not that good,
Why not ? We get to some lovely shots.
Steady on, guys. Yeah, it's a terrific trailer, but has everybody forgotten CASINO ROYALE? Let's wait and see whether Forster and co. have delivered a Bond flick with as interesting a story and characters.
Even before this trailer, I knew QOS was going to be CR and this is some good evidence we have seen.

You have to laugh about some of the people on this site complaining about the running time, suggesting it would be a "throwaway effort". I always knew they were going to knock it out of the park with this trailer.
So, a long time ago I said that this film had the potential to be The Empire Strikes Back to Casino Royale's Star Wars... are we still on course for that?

Certainly not.Steady on, guys. Yeah, it's a terrific trailer, but has everybody forgotten CASINO ROYALE?
The potential's there. So, a long time ago I said that this film had the potential to be The Empire Strikes Back to Casino Royale's Star Wars... are we still on course for that?
Now, admittedly, we don't know a whole lot about the story, which is ultimately where QUANTUM will rise or fall. But it does look like it will be very well executed indeed. And the action seems to blow CASINO ROYALE out of the water.
In the end, it may well be that QUANTUM doesn't quite have the emotional component that CASINO ROYALE does (but the trailer suggests that the character development will be entirely in place), but even if it doesn't, I predict its style, thrills, and overall quality of execution will put it in the same league so that Bond fans are debating which one is better for years to come.
QUANTUM OF SOLACE looks to be the film that LICENCE TO KILL tried to be, just as CASINO ROYALE was the film that THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH tried to be. And that has me pretty excited.

Yes, although they speak awfully fast and have thick accents. It's like a Southerner trying to understand a New Englander.Do you speak Spanish?
Anyway, BlackFire's translations on the first page are accurate, but the dialogue doesn't read as well as it sounds. Like CR, a lot of this looks to hinge on delivery, and at least the Spanish version is great (maybe they should have Dench's voice actress dub her in English too ). I'm sure Craig will make his lines sound even better.
Also, I don't really think Leiter will tell Bond "move your a--," but I'd be pleasantly surprised if he did.
I'm just doing the same extrapolating I did for CR based on its trailer, and I was right that time.Steady on, guys. Yeah, it's a terrific trailer, but has everybody forgotten CASINO ROYALE? Let's wait and see whether Forster and co. have delivered a Bond flick with as interesting a story and characters.

I wanted more action. It's a Bond trailer. And since the trailer is the thing that's supposed to attract people it should have been more like the last 20 secs. It's an action film. We as Bond fans adored it, but I don't think the same thing will happen with the rest of them outside(how much are they 50, 100? ).
Oh and by the way, count me in for those who loved the car chase!
Can you imagine White on the boot!

That would be a dumb idea. I'd be pissed if it was like the last 20 secounds, all action and no substance. That's a red herring for a Brosnan Bond and EON wants to get away from anything like his era.
