It didn't unfortunatley, but Blofelds lair in the PTS reminded me of the Pheonix Headquarters in 007 Nightfire.
Really?
Anyone else? I'm really glad this is getting such a positive response.

And ACE, that ain't no 'smooth' jazz!
Just joshin' ya.
Oh, that was your brother?
Anyhow, I hope to see TRWTS up in a couple of minutes.

Eh...soon, maybe not in a few minutes, but soon.
All right, then.
Now, how about those gunbarrels? Are they all set?

Yep! They should be online with a half an hour. Don't worry, I'll let you know.
I'll keeep an eye out, then.
Now, does anyone have any ideas for Live and Let Die? I've got a rough outline, but any actions sequences that could be worked in would be sorely appreciated.

What are your ideas? Besides my NYC subway idea?
Hmmm... perhaps an action sequence in Las Vegas, to make up for what was lost from DAF.

Hmmm...what locations are you using?
I'm thinking of having Bond on a motorcycle jumping over the fountain at Caesar's Palace.

Haha, that would be great! Go for it.
Just have to think of a reason why... maybe Mr. Big would have a branch there, or suspicious activity, or something?

Yes, that works...the movie doesn't even have to take place in Harlem at all, considering you used NYC in our "FAVTAK" rewrite.
Well, considering the locale of the novel, it might be good to have at least one scene in Harlem...

Do agree with TheSaint though, Roger and Scaramanga should both be left out.

Excellent story, guys..! Especially the PTS is a 'classic'.
Do agree with TheSaint though, Roger and Scaramanga should both be left out.
Roger being there was a wink-and-nod to his Bond-like role of The Saint, similar to Michael Billington in TSWLM; Scaramanga's role here, however, will come back to bite Bond in the butt, as you will see in our The Man with the Golden Gun rewrite.

I think a revenge-driven sequel is what we automatically expect in the Hollywood world, but actually, I'd prefer to see a sequel more along the lines of what Fleming originally intended.A broken Bond returning to sanity.
Lazenbyland, you make a compelling argument and indeed, I would like to see something like this. Sadly, we can't take this step yet with Bond22; but I would like to see back to back Bond films (that is, written and shot as one) that covered such a two-part storey arc.
Quantum Of Solace?
