Michael Bloody Caine? Michael Bloody Caine?

Not that we are going to see Q in the next movie, according P & W. But, even though Michael Bloody Caine is a brilliant actor, I just can't see it. You young'uns around here have the idea that Q should be some kind of grandfather to Bond. Probably due to you coming on board during the Dalton/Brosnan reign, and seeing Desmond Llewelyn gracefully age with the franchise.

IMHO, When Q returns, make him middle-aged, at the most. Someone young enough to be able to comprehend the cutting-edge technology he is arming 007 with.

SHATTERHAND

WRITERS: Louis Mellis and David Scinto (writers of Sexy Beast)

DIRECTOR: Jonathan Glazer (Director of Sexy Beast, as well as 'Birth' and all the best Guinness ads, including 'Surfer'. Also the best Massive Attack and Radiohead promos)

BOND: Daniel Craig (obviously!!!)

M: Michael Gambon (Terence Stamp is also an interesting idea - though it would depend upon how his odd, magnetic screen presence works with Craig's equally magnetic presence - could be too much for supposed allies. if they clash then Stamp could make a great villian for Craig.)

LEITER: Jefery Wright is excellent (although a the idea of Bruce Campbell was inspired!!)

[No Q, or Monneypenny just yet]

Head Villian (this character wouldn't be resolved until the climax of the trilogy in Bond 23): First choice is Rutger Hauer. Next is Ben Kingsley (whom Glazer used to amazing effect in Sexy Beast).

Secondary villian (Vesper's boyfriend - The main focus and resolution of Bond 22): Benicio DeTorro (who cares if he's been in a Bond flick already!).

Bond Girl: Angelina Jolie for Bond 23. However, after the intense love interest of Casino Royale, i think Bond 22's women have to be less intense and more theraputic and perhaps physicly, or interlectualy, rather than emotionally challanging - this is Bond becoming the rutheless, rather cold and damaged Bond we know, not on the re-bound and looking for love.

Title Song: Goldfrapp or The Killers. Outside nod to The Klaxxons!
