I do hope someone is tapped for the novelizations. Mister Asterix was correct, BTW -- the novelizations (except for TSWLM and MR by Wood) -- were begun in earnest only after all of the Fleming novels of the same title had been released with each new film in a special tie-in. I believe when TLD was released, the book OP came out, which, of course, includes TLD.

I doubt that Eon gives a rat's overnight bag one way or another if IFF releases a novelization with Bond 21. I'm sure they'll rake in enough money that they won't miss the few thousand that a book might earn. I mean, geez, a few thousand is what Wilson spends on moustache wax in a year.

And full agreement on the wish that this whole Charlie Higson aberration is temporary and that a fulltime author is secured before the next film comes out.

And let's pressure whoever is in charge to get the John Pearson book "James Bond: The Autobiography of 007" reprinted. I've got my own copies, but you young'uns need to read it.
