I just think the humour wouldn't have worked, it seems pretty 'sick' considering.

....Wai Lin volunteers to dump Bond's body in the swamp herself. Next morning 007 awakes...he surmises Wai Lin must have faked the whole thing (she put a blank bullet in her gun which was loaded up with a powerful knockout drug), but what's going on ?.
Bond heads back to Sheila's hotel room and finds her...dead !. The heavies had paid her a visit thinking she was working with Bond. 007 starts to blame himself for her death.
DefCon 2:
St George and the Dragon
At this time there's a G7 Summit happening in Beijing, and running parallel is a secret meeting of G7 Intelligence Chiefs discussing international security concerns. This means 'M' is also there, with her immediate staff and she briefs 007 inside the British Embassy when he arrives. Bond is told a U.S. spyplane has crashed in China and that also a British surveillance satellite has detected signals from a Chinese satellite during a failed Chinese missile test, which means the Chinese are testing a new defence system. It's 007's assignment to investigate all of this and in particular locate the U.S. spyplane crew. The Chinese authorities apparently don't know anything about the incident, and for good reason; Dragon is holding the crew under wraps because their spyflight has uncovered vital information which could unravel his plans.
Along the way 007 'runs into' Wai Lin again and eventually they team up to kick
and save the world. Their relationship is more complex this time around because 007 has orders to steal information on the new Chinese technology and/or destroy it.
As the enormity of Dragon's plans become evident to MI6, 'M' and all her entourage (including Moneypenny) will be targeted for termination !!, as Dragon plans to launch a cruise missile attack against the British Embassy (he can get away with it because soon he will be at war with the world).
Other characters in the cast are:
Touchi Mawawa- female member of a Japanese Yakuza organisation called "REDJAPAN" (look but don't touchi) sent by her bosses to kill Dragon because his past security crackdowns have crushed many Yakuza activities in China. Like other Yakuza members, Touchi's body is covered in a myriad series of elaborate tattoos !. During her mission she must cover-up as much of her body as possible to escape the attention of the Chinese authorities (unfortunately). She is Wai Lin's rival as 007's love interest.
Fat Kong- tough s.o.b. henchman with bleached white hair and blue eyes. A cross between Stamper & Oddjob. The world's first Aryan-Asian.
Major Kaotica Wang- tough sexy bitch with the martial arts skills to perhaps literally leave Wai Lin for dead.
Sweet Tang/ Chop-Suzy Wrong/ Suki Minx- Chinese & Japanese bimbos working for Dragon who do nothing else but wear bikinis and 'bond' with 007.
DefCon 1:
Operation Domination
As the movie speeds to it's climax, Wai Lin and Touchi Mawawa (now more scantilly dressed showing some tattoos) fight at Bond's side, in the Chinese High Command Complex. At the critical moment Dragon gains the upper hand and launches his limited nuclear strike. Russia and the West detect the launches and immediately go to DEFCON ONE: WAR !!. They launch the same number of missiles in retaliation (the British launch from a Polaris submarine, ordered via the ATAC) and in flight their missiles malfunction and crash !!...all hope seems lost...
From there the action moves to a wild dash for freedom by Dragon and his cohorts, inside a massive cargo lifting Chinese Military helicopter. On board are our heroes (naturally); 007 and Touchi take on Dragon and Fat Kong, while Wai Lin has a date with destiny against Major Wang !!.
Inadvertently, the helicopter plunges into a spectacular collision course with the Great Wall of China !!. At the climatic point of no return, only one of our heroic girls will survive. Which one? and how will 007 stop those missiles from getting through ?. Well...you will have to buy a cinema ticket and stand in line.
