For those of you who are wondering when M bribes the poilce, it is in a deleted scene, which can be found on the special feature of the DVD's. It shows a French policeman looking at somw of Bonds weapons, including his watch and some other gadgets which he gets frightened by. I find it quite funny (3/5) but agree that it was deleted, it wasn't really needed in the plot of the film.

I read this list and now like A View to a Kill less. Was that supposed to happen?

Am I the only person on the forums who likes AVTAK? I could tell you one film its better than but I would be slaughtered and banished from the world of Bond forever.

VERY amusing.
I know Xenobia will NOT like the following comments(you have been warned!)
Ten reasons NOT to like AVTAK:
1. Roger looks old enough to be Stacy's father.
2. Roger can't do the action scenes.
3. Roger has orange hair and skin.
4. Roger isn't a convincing "babe magnet".
5. Roger has too many cheesy lines.
6. Roger in a leather jacket?
7. Roger in a jaccuzzi?!
8. Roger's stunt doubles are ****.
9. Roger in bed with Grace Jones?!!!!!
10. Roger is nearly a pensioner.

Sorry, no offence to Roger(where would we be without him?)
I liked Roger's Bond from 1973 to 1981 - After that, it goes downhill.

Very funny! ^_^ I find all humourous takes on Bond films very lightly! :)

However...

Victor Zokas (16 Apr, 2002 09:57 p.m.):
8. Bond can tie a knot in two seconds without burning his hands and it's still strong enough to hold the airship in place.

Assuming the mooring line (the pun was probably subconcious) was strong enough--and it should be--there's no reason why anyone couldn't tie a bowline or some sort of hitch in little more than two seconds. Especially James Bond. :)

I really do like AVTAK, it just isn't the most serious Bond and as such it has some amusing aspects.

I thought it was mentioned in the main part of the movie, not just the deleted scene that M has paid to get bond out of the police cell.

And mr moon - you can't open a door and then not come in. Please tellall which movie you are referring to. We need to be told.

It's possibly my favorite Roger Moore 007 movie after TSWLM

A View To A Kill is better than Goldfinger, but not as good as The Man With The Golden Gun and Moonraker. There. Can anyone do better than that?

You are kidding right....while I agree that AVTAK is a damn fine movie, MR and TMWTGG are abominations.
