I saw it when it was on television...I would say it was in the late 1970s, very early 1980s.

He was the celebrity guest for the one episode...There is the famous skit of Roger with Miss Piggy.

I very vaguely remember it...except for his musical number (with Miss Piggy?) I thought it was weird to see James Bond sing!

His appearance was in April 1980 (before start of filming FYEO). Also, Shirly Bassey and John Cleese have been guests on the show (I rememer Bassey reprising "Goldfinger" for a skit)

I remember seeing this too when it came out. He does host the whole half-hour episode. The highlight I remember was near the end he sings "Talk to the Animals" and punches out various Muppets who are supposed to be spies. And I think he does it wearing a tuxedo.

Seen it back in either 1979 or '80. It was pretty funny; Roger tries to avoid any 007-style sketches throughout the entire show and winds up beating the **** out of a bunch of Muppets by the end. Has to be seen to be believed;P.

I've owned it for about 3 years and I love it! He's in the entire episode and the skit with Miss Piggy is hilarious. If you're a Moore fan, especially, you've gotta get it!

I remember seeing that Muppet Show episode back when it first aired. After RM and Miss Piggy did their musical number together, the old guys in the balcony said something like this:

"0-o-seven and seven-o-o."

"Seven-o-o? Is that Miss Piggy's code number?"

"No, that's her weight!"

It's a classic episode for fans of both RM and the Muppets. Brosnan also did a similar guest appearance on the 1990s updated Muppet show.

If anyone would care: I once saw Pierce in the Muppet Show, so maybe there's a DVD with him also?

I think the Brosnan one was during the short-lived 1997 "Muppets Tonight!" revival from ABC (and later reran on Disney Channel), since Brosnan really wasn't popular during the late 70s-early 80s.

But I'm probably wrong.
