Jaws is back

Personally I liked him in TSWLM, but I think it was a huge mistake to have him come back in "Moonraker". That whole romance thing at the end was hurl inducing and I hated the fact he finally spoke. Part of the menace in TSWLM was his silence.

Oh tell me you are kidding Righty....Nick Nack?? Did you ever really feel that 007 was in danger with the guy from "Fantasy Island" ("the plane, the plane")
I thought Jaws was great in TSWLM (biting Kalbas neck off). However the love struck, talking Jaws in MR was just horrible.

There was no ‘Fantasy Island’ when The Man with the Golden Gun came out and Nick Nack was very menacing and quite creepy.
As for Jaws, I liked him best in his first movie, Silver Streak.

Yes, I do. Nick Nack is one of my favourite henchs.
Just curious, did you see The Man With The Golden Gun before ‘Fantasy Island’?

Is there anything like that in the works??
I think they should have a Bond Game.. where you can chose which Bond actor you want to play with.. That would cool as hell if each Bond actor had their strengths!
Roger would be smart
Sean would be ?
Tim would be a killer

I'd like him back actually, Kiel is still going strong.

I want Jaws to come back too, but I don't think Kiel would be able to play him again. The man will be 72 this year and I heard he needs a cane to get around these days.Originally posted by mattbowyer
I love Jaws to death and I think he gets even better in Moonraker. I love how he turns good for love, the "EXPEL THEM!" scene is one of my favourite parts of Moonraker - itself the best Bond film.

I never said I thought Nick Nack was "dangerous'. I said I thought that Nick Nack was one of the most "memorable" henchmens ever in a Bond film.Originally posted by DLibrasnow

I don't recall and I'm not sure it would really make a difference, even without "the plane, the plane" reference he would still be annoying.

I have to assume you are joking...the Kiel romance is the low point of the entire series.

To me that was the actual intention of the character, otherwise why bother giving him any airtime at all. He's only a butler/batman/manservant afterall.Originally posted by BONDFINESSE 007
to me...i just dont know, nick nack came off as this little pest, and no matter how many times i see it he stil does
As he was the one organising "cannon fodder" for Scaramanga to hone his skills on (and hoping that he can inherit the island in the process if someone got lucky) so he couldn't help but be pesty, or rather driven. He was just looking out for a possible better furure for himself.

And again...I will defend the Jaws romance to the end, few moments have me giggling with delight more than when he meets Dolly. Oh what a wonderful movie.

Apparently some in these forums consider him one of the less effective, if not memorable, miniatures of the series.Originally posted by mattbowyer
.....Nick Nack (who for all the bashing you have to say is memorable)....

Sorry, but I think Nick Nack is the most brilliantly written non-Fleming hench. I simply love the way you are never sure whether he is out for himself and because of that a potential ally of Bond, or if he is loyal to Scaramanga and only putting on an act to trap Bond. It is brilliant. And Herv

That comes a close second....and it appears TWINE is also the movie that Pierce Brosnan himself would rather we forgot.
