I live in the US, are the new reissued Fleming books coming out in the US? And if so, when?

My Thunderball shipped today. FYEO and LALD say "shipping soon" (which means it could be today as well).

I've seen a few in stores, but not all. 4 of the first 6 in one store, 2 of the first 6 in another. Amazon's got 'em for $10.40 w/free shipping.

So far I have Casino Royale, Dr.No, and Goldfinger. I just ordered my copy of For Your Eyes Only from amazon and it should be here soon.

Got my LALD and FYEO today. They look great! Can't wait for the next 3.

Here's a look at the whole set so far.

Very colourful, but still a little "busy" when they are put all together. And the Thunderball title just doesn't work too well.

I agree. The Thunderball title doesn't work. But that is my only complaint.

Don't get me wrong, John. I like them better than the Uk ones.

I now look at my new collection and feel depressed.

Well, at least you have them all. This 3 books at a time over 2 years is the bunk. Maybe at the end, if they release them in a box set, you can get that at a good price. Nothing wrong with having two sets.

I live in the UK and am trying to track down the recent hardback copies of the novels. Do you know where I could find them?

Nice to see I'm not the only one whose Penguins don't line up just right. :)

Please tell me that The Man with the Golden Gun and Octopussy are planned soon. I really want to have a matched set of all of the novels. I have the hardback MJF books, but they never printed those last two.

My guess is that THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN and OCTOPUSSY will be released in December 2003 - I think that's when MOONRAKER, DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER, and FROM RUSSIA, WITH LOVE were released last year, and they're definately following a pattern.

I can't wait to find space to line up all my new Flemings so they can resemble Zencat's set.
This set also does wonders for my reading - I haven't read anything in awhile, but I really dove into LIVE AND LET DIE. Good to know I have some other Bond novels to read as well.
