Looks like the old 007 has a soft spot for animals:

I like Roger, but I think a lot of PETA's actions qualify them as being an organization crazy enough for Bond to go after. The fur thing is an okay cause, but calling people Nazis if they eat meat because animals are slaughtered? That's a bit overboard.

The bears killed for their fur for some busbies pall in comparison to the hundreds of bears ousted from their habitat by forestry and other large industrial processes in the wilderness.

I think PETA would be more effective to tell Macmillan-Bloedel to stop logging and save the black bears that way. Anyway, Moore wore crocodile shoes in LALD (at least), so he's being hypocritical.

That said, they're pretty ugly hats.

PETA has some good points...but their terrorist antics drown out any semblance of sanity in their cause.

PETA is a bunch of fringe lunatics that murder people and torch buildings. I am sorry to see old Roger taken in by this group of psychopaths

Don't hold back Dlibra...tell us how you really feel about PETA.

I just want to make it clear that PETA USA has never, EVER been linked to any acts of arson or murder. Maybe something like that happened in the UK but not in the US.

They torched an Eli Lilly Building in the UK...There was a janitor inside at the time - he died...It was the same building my uncle worked in, if he had been working late that night.......

So believe me I have a personal hatred for PETA. I agree that they have some good points in their agenda but I am not going to be quiet about an organization who set out to kill a family member of mine.

I can't stand PETA.

Animal rights are fine, but drawing connections between chicken farms and Nazi concentration camps is just insane.
