>>if you want to make 5 more there is nothing we can do about it<<
Except refuse to pay to see a Bond in his 70s ludicrously beating up 30 year old men and bedding 20 year old girls.

Ya i agree with that. Fine his looking old in the tooth to me. Let him do the next and go. Least give him a bloody good script for once (barring the possibilities GE had)
Connery was voted sexiest man alive at 60. And i think sexiest of the 20th Century... Still wouldn't have him as Bond at 60 let alond at 53... (NSNA)

I think one. He'll be way too old. Like it or not. Time waits for no one.
You want him to do 2. I'll buy him the walker so he can get round, and a cane for his action scenes.

It seems like they're letting Brosnan decide when he's done (so far anyway). How about the other guys? I know Connery and Dalton called it quits of their own accord but what about Lazenby and Moore? Why didn't Lazenby continue and was it the producers who cut Moore loose or did he also make the decision himself?

In the era of Easy Rider and hippies, he thought Bond would soon go out of fashion so he left of his own accord- a decision he now bitterly regrets.

According to the Making Of AVTAK, it was entirely Moore's decision and he left amicably.

Look i know i'm new to this forum thing, but i do know my bond films and dudes it doesn't take a microscope to prove that brosnan is aging badly, personally i don't think he will look belivable at all by the time bond 21 comes along, he should quit whilst he's well ahead!

I don't think Brosnan is aging badly. He still doesn't look bad for his age. He looked pretty fit and able as Bond to me in Die Another Day (except for those few scenes when he had a huge petruding belly). Infact I think he seemed most like "Bond" to me in that film. However, there is going to be another 3 year .. or more .. gap. We saw how much he aged between TWINE and DAD. Well, I imagine he'll look quite a bit older after the 3 years between DAD and Bond 21. Even then, we don't even know if it's going to be 3 years. So, I think he should just stay for 1 more film and then leave. We really do not need to see the series repeat the path of Roger Moore, despite how much we love him as Bond.

I agree that Moore was ageing badly by the time AVTAK rolled around, but that did not stop me from liking the film, and liking him (and his stunt man
) as Bond.
I think we should really wait and see how Brozzy looks in the next one to judge whether he should stay or go. Sure he's starting to get on in years now (as evidenced in DAD) but he does age in spurts, so he might stay looking like he did in DAD for a bit.

Brosnan isnt aging all that badly, but he is going to look a little old after Bond 21. He stilll looks alright to hold the 007 title, but i think one more is enough.
