You know in the middle of GE when Wade drives The Z3 Roadster away, well it would be pretty nice to see it in some action, I have been wondering what it's stinger missiles look like.

What was great about the Z3 in GE was it was the first time we had ever seen it. GoldenEye came out before the car. So it was impressive. I remember the audience gasped at the sight of the car (as they did with the Aston in DAD). But now you see them everywhere. Still great looking cars, but not special enough for James Bond anymore.

And if I see one more missile fly out from behind a headlight I'm going to shoot someone. The whole car thing has played!

What zen said. Plus if they went back to Beemers they should go with the Z4.

No, I'm happy with the Aston Martin. The Vanquish still has that "wow" appeal -- audiences did gasp at it in DAD. So it still has that punch. The BMWs have had their time, and that time has passed. Stick with the new and fresh.

But we've seen a lot of the cars (and those missiles) as said above, and frankly, it's a bit tiring.

If they went back to BM's try the M3 forget the Z4.

Still. I'd like to see Bond cruisin in a Bentley. :)

The Z4 would be perfect, I've literally have had dreams about him diving a Z4 through India or something like that.

Of the BMW's the z8 was the only one that made me want to learn to drive and brave NYC parking. The z3 was too little and cute, and so easily upstaged in looks and appeal by the DB5. The new Aston is a beast, it's gorgeous, it's Bond.... it costs more than many homes.... that's the way it should be. :)

What I think should happen is that Bond could shoot at the enemy from his Z3 but after he gets out of it, the car would blow up becaue of a time bomb and then he would switch to his AM Vanquish (if it is in another movie) That would give the car some good use before it goes away for good. The Z8 from TWINE got cut in half when it said goodbye (stupid if you ask me becaue those things cost $115,000)

If I'm not mistaken, the M3 roadster looks very very similar to the Z3 and every single Bentley I've ever seen does'nt look like a Bond car. I thought the Bond cars were the latest, hot dream car designs for their time (except for the AM saloon in TLD, That came out in the seventies)

Is it just me, or have they overdone the whole gadget laden car thing. Before Brosnan took over we had three really wow Bond cars in 'Goldfinger', 'The Spy Who Loved Me' and 'The living Daylights'. They used to be pretty special but now they have been used too much and too frequently.

Arnage - Ugly
Continental - the first Bentley I like, I can see it in a Bond movie
M Roadster - That is the one I was talking about. Oops! (and I really like BMWs)
M3 - Would make a good one it's just that it loooks like it should have been after TND And before TWINE

Let's stick with the Aston Martins . Especially since the "baby Aston" will be in production in 2005 . In so far as the BMW' , if it could not work with the Z8 . Why use a lesser car ?

the V8 Vantage is the baby aston. 2 door coupe, 2 seater.

I can't believe you called a Bentley Arnage "ugly" !
it retails at something like 340-350 thou US

Just because the Arnage is expensive doesn't mean it has to look good, and yes the Vantage is a pretty nice looking car.

The whole BMW thing just wreeked 'Product Placement Gone Too Far'. I didn't think the Z3 was appropriate (not when they could have had the new DB7). The 750 was great and used well, but a bit bland when compared to others. The Z8 showed us that BMW and Bond could look good together, but alas it was under used.
All Astons have been fantastic for me. I've loved them all, and think they are suited to Bond like no other cars, and that's not just because they're made in England so go with his UK image.
I have no complaints at all on the Aston front. I'd even like to see the old DB5 return briefly again like in TND.

Bond should never drive foreign "****." He should drive good ol' British cars in general, and Aston Martinis in particular. :)

The Z3 is just a 316 with a different body. The one in GE does 0-60 in approx 11 seconds. Bonds cars should be special and fast, the Z3 is neither.
