Okay, here's the game - State a movie quote from one of Roger's Bond movies and the next poster has to answer who said it and from which movie. Be sure to leave a quote then for the next poster. :)

I'll start:

"You have a nasty habit of surviving."

Oh - you are so mean Four eyes Only

This is only a wild stab in the dark guess, but Scaramanga in The Man with the Golden Gun..?

If I am actually right... then, as James probably said to Mr Khan - continue with the game

"I'm Doctor Holly Goodhead and I am the love interest" - no, too obvious

"Yes thankyou" - too obscure, but it was actually James saying thanks for his martini in The Spy Who Loved Me

"Shaken, not stirred" - only kidding

er... been a long time since I saw a Roger movie, but that bad puns stick with you like cement to a Mob informer's feet - what about...

"I'm just whetting my appetite - for information"

...

but then again - if I lucked out, please disregard and I will shoot myself shortly. It will be a slow, painfull but honourable death.

Oh that is just great Mr Four Eyes - now I will have to go off and shoot myself - you totally stumped me with that one

However before I die I will continue the game...

"I'm just wetting my appetite - for information" (think safes)

and just who is Clay Aiken anyway?

Is this Bond to Corinne in "Moonraker"?

How about this?

Oh - this is getting exciting.

Both Mr Wade and Sir Miles are bang on the mark - and aren't they clever teddies. Yes guys it was that bit from Moonraker when James goes and breaks into the safe while Ms Bimbo looks on (and then I do believe they have sex)

So now we have two quotes to place:

"Actions speak louder than words"

and

"I don't have to apologize to you, a hired killer, for what I am"

Now these guys are Roger - the Dodger - officionardos and I wouldn't have a clue where these two come from, but I reckon that the unbelievalby clever person who can name BOTH quotes get to continue the game...

A challenge for all Roger fans

I recall this thread being called the "Roger Moore Movie Quote Game", not the "George Lazenby Movie Quote Game". So that quote from OHMSS was unfair and doesn't count.

Yep... You're right on the other quote as well, Stuart. So, on your qoute, "I'll be back in a hour," did Roger say that at the beginning of OP? "

"It's a pity you persist in being so businesslike"

That's said by Bond's friend that went to Cambridge with him in the tent in TSWLM. AS for another quote gor someone to guess, "I wouldn't say you qualify on that count." (or something like that)

That would be Bond sticking it to Scaramanga during lunch at his monster island. I love that whole scene, excellent dialogue and I love Goodnight's reaction to it all. Also Goodnight in a bikini is a real plus.

How about this one:

"Mind if I drive?"
