Bond closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. He holds it for a moment considering what is to come. There is no consideration of cooperation. That will not happen. Only the knowledge that he is about to feel pain like he has never felt before. As he exhales his breath, Bond opens his eyes.

Le Chiffre breathes in too, breathing in his rage, his face reddening and this latest refusal. With no further hesitation, all pleasantries are dropped and the beatings commence.

Val Kilmer? Actually, I had always felt that Kilmer would have made a great Felix Leiter, before the shark attack of "License to KIll" of course.

I thought your scene was great, by the way. Why not give it the full treatment?

Thank you for the compliment Killmaster...if I could find the time, I wouldn't mind giving CR the full treatment.

As for Val Kilmer...I really liked him in the Saint, and I thought he could make a very good assassin.

Excellent scene, Xenobia. Very descriptive (perhaps too descriptive, if you know what I mean.) If there were to be a female writer as the next Bond author, I'd nominate you in a second.:)

BRAVO XENOBIA.....once again immencely taken by your commendable writing, i enjoyed it and would be interested in hearing your full take on CR. I would have to agree w/ Double Oh zero...I think it's time we gave Bond to a female writer! :)

Thank you, thank you! You guys and gals are the best!

And if Gildrose -- or especially Eon asked -- I think I could be persuaded to say yes.

:-D

Yikes. Xenobia, this is getting scary. After I read this scene (not really realizing who'd written it), I immediately wished I could use some of those lines in MY story...

Spooky.

Mr. Draco...I too am I recovering TXF fan, and I too miss Mr. Duchovny terribly. I'd like to see him back and I think he would make a great Leiter!

Thanks for the compliments one and all!
