According to a newsreport quoted on the imdb.com web site, Jonathan Rhys-Meyers tested last weekend in London for the 007 role, to take over after Brosnan leaves after Bond 21.
I'd still much rather see Clive Owen as Bond. Tough sumbitch, ain't he?

I read that too. I don't know if he would be a good Bond or not, I've never seen him in anything

Born on 27 July 1977
He is 3 years and 3 days older than me.
I am 22 and he is 25.
25 is to young for play bond.
In 2008 he is 30/31 and that is still 7 years to young i think.
Colin Farrel is a litle older than him, born on 31 May 1976 and is to young to.
We must have an Bond that is not older than 45 and not younger than 37.

No, I hope we have a Bond that is as young as Connery, but looks mature. This way he could make as many films without looking too past his sell by date.
Around 35 would be a good age.

I wouldn't believe a word of it. It's almost certainly a rumour. It surfaced on the net about a week ago.

Why do people always insist EON is testing actors when this movie is four years or more away? Sure they are always looking for fresh talent, but haven't all the other false reports taught anybody anything?
