Nightfire and EA Review

As you can tell I hate EA and that they ruin every game they touch (SimCity, NFS, MotorCity Online) and now Nightfire and Agent Under Fire can be added that the growing list. I am not by any means saying don't buy this game but when it first came out for $40+ it was a huge rip.
So lets start the review.
When I first loaded up and game and played the unoriginal EA logos the main sequence came up and I was shocked and impressed with the quality of the charcters this is one thing they did right. The cut scences are also great and entertaining as you successful complete and objective or level!
But from there it kinda went downhill, while it isn't the most unstable game ever made it was not to pretty. A lot or errors in graphics and some objectives that were much harder than suppose to be. (Taking pictures of girls in first level.) But the recent patch has fixed these errors and some huge errors with video card compatibitily. But the patch to was disappointing as you can no longer play multiplayer! And now you can tell they have moved on as the website is old and outdated with an old countdown clock that was removed but now back for some odd reason. It is just dissappoing to see what EA has done with the James Bond legacy, it really makes me want to play Goldeneye64 again.
The pros. Some of the better sides would include huge levels of gameplay with some missions taking up to 45 min. They are for the most part very nice looking and neat to find hidden secrets in. But it is realitivly easy on the easy setting but if you set yourself to a 00 you will find it much more challenging.
Right now the PC version sells for about $20 US at that price it is not a bad deal. While it isn't the only first-person shooter nor anywhere near the best but I would still recommend this game becasue it carrys on the James Bond spirt and maybe the folks at James Bond headquarters will get a new company to make it's games, becasue as you can see EA has already moved on as the patch doesn't even work with mutiplayer, very dissappointing.
Overall I would rate it: 83%/100% which works out to an average game.
It's my first review hope you enjoyed if I think of anything else I will add it.

For me, average means about 60-75 %.
And: about which version are you talking? I suppose it's NF for PC. I've heard that the PC version is far worse than the console versions. I own the GameCube NightFire and I'm glad to say that EA did it right this time, although the Voice Acting is pretty *****y.
I have also to say that the game is terribly straight. Ok, you've got some alternate routes you can take, but it gets less and less with every level, culminating in the ultra-dumb shoot-around-level in outer space.
Letting the ease of the game aside, the controls are good (though a bit uncomfortable compared to the PS2 version), the sound is very bondish, the graphics are also good (but nothing special) and the gameplay doesn't let you down.

Yes get a new gaming company one that I would personally like to see take it over is codemasters or even rareware if it is around. And about basing them on films I think some should be while others are not.

I'm guessing you're refering to a console game...
I keep saying no to getting a console cause I'd just be buying it for "that 1 game".. but the way im going, I'd better get one
Doubt I'll ever will.. My n64 blew up 1 week after I bought it... dont want to spend another 300$ for an explosion that can be done by putting a flame next to a can of hairspray...

Yes how could I forget Ubisoft they could make it a #1 game without a doubt.

EA did NOT make the game, I REPEAT
EA did NOT make the game!
They only published it.
That means distribute it around the globe,
marketing, and all that stuff.
Blame GEARBOX, They did it...
Im starting to question your guys'
prowess of newbiness?

The driving levels are the best though!
