Does anyone know how I can get the Die Another Day script? Many studios print the script in book format and have them at book stores. MGM does not seem to do that. Anyone know a way to get the script? For anyone that can, thanks for your help in advance.

Try this...some people might think this is pretty close to the actual movie!

This is the first Bond script I haven't been able to get a hold of. :)

Is it the case that the Bond scripts have never been published in book form?

If so, why? It's not as though they wouldn't sell.

All the Bond scripts now have a watermarked number (ie 109) on each page.

So if it ever gets out - they can look up who was given script 109 and prosecute them.

It totally blows.

I've always thought this too. At the same time, I wouldn't want a word-for-word repeat of the actual script as translated to screen.

I have a few I've got through script companies. It's interesting to see the early drafts, like the NSNA Warhead one from about 1976. And the little subtle changes in dialogue like DAF where the original response to "Hi, I'm Plenty" is "I'd be foolish to deny it."

I got a script from DreamWorks to consider for a rewrite -- across every page was a huge watermark of my name!

Well, there was a copy of the TND shooting script in book form bundled with the TND VHS box set. I bought it primarily for the script and the other extras once Target marked it down lower than the normal VHS edition.

I had a topic in General Movie Discussion that contained early draft scrips for TND and TWINE.

It was totally ignored though. :)

(Well, except for Mr. *, who altered the links so as to avoid legal issues :) )

I have a copy of the Living Daylights, normal with no watermarks - but it was through a friend and it was a long time ago.

That is one hilarious script! Almost as good as the 'world affairs' lesson [censored] DAD script (qv another post).

My favorite is Halle Berry's line about the invisible car (considering her run-in with the law a couple of years back)...

"...I bet that would be really handy if you hit someone and had to get away."

P.S. General Koskov, where is that "World Affairs" thread link?
