Awesome, it is great that Moore gets some glory by having his own marathon.

They seem to play better on TV. They were very commercial in style and survive advertising breaks pretty well. Commercials during Connery's films are extremely distracting. I love TB but find it very hard to watch on TV, yet can't turn MR off. Isn't it great when you are channel-surfing and you find a Bond flick? (My wife doesn't think so.)

I caught Moonraker last night, and put in my widescreen VHS of Thunderball instead. I will never be able to forgive the powers that be for gang-raping Fleming's Moonraker novel. That's up there on par with what was done to Casino Royale and Man With The Golden Gun...

Despite my earlier post, I skipped right over MR last night as well. Watched the news. Maybe I have seen the gang-rape victim one too many times.

~Does ABC own the series???
UPN??
TNN?
TBS??

How is this working now, I thought TBS owned it.. then ABC bought it right? How did TNN & UPN get it...

I agree...I really like the commercial breaks that TNN comes up with -- pretty clever graphics. My only problem is that TNN seems to find it acceptable to place a commercial break while a character is in mid-sentence.

ABC picked up the rights to the series in expectation of a writers strike last year. When the movies failed to set the ratings on fire they let those rights go and they were picked up by Viacom.
