Where did you get your copy of Casino Royale?

Where are other places to buy a copy?

Is Casino Royale in print where you live?

Having troubles finding Casino Royale? Post here.

I think you can find the new copy everywhere, in the US try the usual places like Barnes & Noble or Borders, plus many smaller places or even airport bookshops, then there's always Amazon...actually I can even find copies here at my local bookstore

I have the old Cornet edition. I'd quite like to buy the new American reissue (the covers of that series are very attractive) but I don't fancy importing them from America (I looked on Amazon.Com looking to buy CR & DAF and it works out as an extra $11 on shipping, plus potententally an hefty customers duty on top of that)

Anyone know where I can get them in the UK?

I bought most of my copies of Casino Royale from eBay. (I have six.) But I did pick up the new Penguin print. Quite nice.

That’s strange because when I’ve bought books from Amazon.co.uk it really didn’t cost me any more than buying from the US.

Have you checked Barnes & Noble?

When it was OOP, I bought mine on ebay. I've yet to pick up the new Penguin edition, but I love the cover and intend to. I've seen them in some Waldenbooks stores and if they don't have it, they can order it.

I got the British rerelease of Casino Royale, but it's back home so I'll grab the American reprint here, man that'll put me up to like four or five copies, none valuable, but all different...

I have two copies of the new Penguin edition, one of which I bought from Amazon.co.uk and the other which was in the box set, which I am sure most of you know about.

I went by B. Dalton last night and they had none of the new Fleming prints on their shelves. One of the sales staff asked if he could help me and I asked, ‘Where are the James Bond books?’. The clerk developed a scowl, turned away from me, and said, ‘They might be in the fiction section.’ as we walked away. I, of course, already knew that the books were of course not in the fiction section. May I suggest that anyone looking for Casino Royale or any other Bond novels not start at B. Dalton.

I got a Berkley Casino Royale paperback at a "trade-a-book" store. Those stores where I live used to have a lot of paperback Bond books, until I cleaned them out. Since then I have been getting some hardback and paperback Bonds from Half Price Book stores. They usually have a copy or two of some Bond book. I got a hard back Macmillan CR there as well as hardback OP, DN, YOLT, FRWL, TB, GF, TMWTGG, LR, and S.

I bought a British copy of it a couple years ago through Amazon.co.uk when it was still out of print in the US. I bought it along with TMWTGG, and it came out to about $12 or $15 apiece. Pretty expensive for a paperback, but it was basically the only way to get them. The covers weren't too bad, not nearly as gaudy as the new American covers, just some props from the storyline (i.e. tacks on the cover of Casino Royale.)

I bought mine about a few years ago in Waterstones in B'ham city centre. I've read it nearly 4 times now - look forward to reading it again. I have the Coronet version with the distinctive artwork on the front - a couple of cards on the road with some nails.

All the new re-issues of Fleming's books are now in all Waterstones and good book shops in B'ham.

Yesterday I picked up a nice condition 1964 'pan' paperback of CR for fifty pence in a charity shop. I'm quite pleased with it really.
