I wondered what the equivalent budget for Moonraker would be today, adjusted for inflation.

It was very expensive at $30,000,000, especially in 1979.

Well in today's dollars Moonraker gross $503 million dollars . So i would guess it's budget would be closer $120 million . Perhaps the cost of TWINE/DAD . Interesting .

In both cases, it proves that throwing money at the screen does not make a great movie (though both had great 1st halves).

If DAD cost $142 million for a production budget , with a marketing budget of $38 million . What will Bond 21 cost ? Since MGM want the same type of film . Any thoughts.
