Sam Niel, anyone seen Event Horizon, or memoirs of a invisable man, not a good guy in those films.

But Ian Flemming, Casino Royale made the impression, the villian is a mirror image of Bond, something Dalton and Davi in Licence to Kill, implemented in their characters for Licence to Kill and it showed.

Actors who we think don't quite cut it as Bond, would make good villians.

I mean Sean Bean as 006, was another example of this.

I also think Clive Owen, although some like him for Bond, I'm one of those who believe he can't convince as Bond, but would make a terrific Villian, that's more realistic for me.

Sam Niel another great villian wannabe.

I think exciting villians to come, are those who could beat up James a bit, and still live the life of a villian, just like Flemming's mirror image villian of Bond, there's lots of actors who you think could play Bond, but just don't look right as Bond, but indicate they'll be Bond's great adversary.

This in my opinion did not work that well in "GoldenEye" . So why try it again . Bond villians work best when they are older than Bond . Or foreign .

I agree there are some actors who could maybe play Bond but would make better villians. I think Kenneth Branagh can be added to the list.
