But what has it been scrubbed in favour of? An encore screening of that Michael Jackson special which aired last week.
*shakes head in dismay*

With World War 3 in the background. The world needs a distraction so ,"The King of Pop" Michael Jackson will provide it. It too bad ,since the time could be better spent . Like removing the children from his care. The man is a walking freak show. Send him to Iraq!!!!Originally posted by [dark]
First The Bond Essentials, now this!

They pulled The X-Files movie several months ago too for no reason.
By-the-by, in case you haven't heard, 24 is having an encore presentation tonight [Thursday] at 9:30 featuring the first two episodes. Monday sees two more episodes air back-to-back.

P.S.- I don't think it's a coincidence that Jack Bauer and 007 have the same initials, do you? Or am I stating the obvious?

The MJ special will get better ratings than Bond, its a fair decision by 7 really, the hype started after it was screened here and i for one would like to catch up.

I don't care if I'm not going to watch it on TV coz I have the DVD, but for heavens sakes have Bond on TV for the people who don't.

If it can beat that season i will be dumbfounded.

The parallels to real events will FRIGHTEN you. The best written show since Homicide:Life on the Street. (Don't know if you got that one over there.)

As for buying season 1 of "24" , I did the same. I had a feeling that it would be hard to find once the second season got under way. Like you said, Jriv, the writing is excellent.

You just saw the ad for it, didn't you, dark?
24 had me on the edge of my seat tonight. Man, those writers are working overtime on this season.
TND instead of "Pitch Black"? Looks like Bond stomps on xXx once again.

24 looks to be ramping up nicely this season. Can't wait to see what unfolds.
But you'd think 7 would at least show the bloody Bond special after TND. Wouldn't that make sense??????

I know; I'm really disappointed that Seven have given up on The Bond Essentials. I'd love to see it.
