Bernard Lee, who played just as big a role as DL, passed away and some many years later he simply appears in a painting in the background that you just might catch if you're quick enough.

Has anyone heard any more news about whether or not there is going to be some kind of tribute to Q/Desmond in DAD/Bond 20? There was talk of a funeral/memorial service, but that was quite some time ago, since then I've heard nothing.
The talk of the memorial service appeared with a bogus script for TWINE...a story that DL dismissed in the official TWINE magazine. Another bogus script for NAT (DAD) mentions Q., but not the memorial service itself.

We've had a nice tribute at the beginning of the The World is not Enough video (DVD too I assume). No disprespect meant to Desmond, but isn't that enough?
Bernard Lee, who played just as big a role as DL, passed away and some many years later he simply appears in a painting in the background that you just might catch if you're quick enough.
And perhaps now, DL's portrait will hang beside BL's.

The way they left it in TWINE was very fitting, and a moving and very memorable scene. I think it would be best to leave it how he wanted it.
