There have been a number of threads over the last few months that have said something to the effect of

"dougles james is pierce brosnan's stunt double."

Appearently, AJB is stating that EON Productions has told them that this guy was NEVER PB's stunt double... that he has NO POSITION with EON Productions. That he was in TOMMOROW NEVER DIES but was NOT brosnan's double.

The other day, Blue Eyes ran 3 photographs which implied this guy was involved with DIE ANOTHER DAY, particularly the steam train set piece.

Could you guys see into this....

It is reported that Douglas James was not on good terms with Eon after TND, hence he wasn't in TWINE. But he has since confusingly presented himself as having relationship with Eon and James Bond. The steam train set piece is a fake and I can tell it at first sight. It is also reported that DJ is not even a stuntman, more a stand-in for Brosnan in TND.

It's interesting that you bring this up Ray... I remember about a year ago, a person was selling a tuxedo bow tie that he claims he took right from Pierce during the filming of TND. He also IDed himself as PB's stunt double. I wonder if that was the real stunt double, or this Douglas James person.

Maybe someone can un-confuse me right now. I thought Douglas James was the stunt double for Brosnan in TWINE? It's obvious he stood in for Pierce in TND - during the Khybar Pass intro you can clearly tell it's DJ running amok and not PB. Also, that picture of DJ in front of a steamtrain? Uh uh, I know Photoshop when I see it. Yes, EON probably did film a steam train shot, but I bet that photo is a photo from the set - just with DJ added in. What a codger.
