Your post is quite simply incorrect. The 2002 chart ended on Dec. 31st.
Although Die Another Day has made more money in total than Scooby Doo in the U.S. box office - it made less money than the canine sleuth in the year 2002.

the top 10 in the us will be different than the GLOBAL top 10.
bond will probably come in 6th after the JAPENESE numbers are in by, say, mid may.
also the "calendar year" should not be the window....i think the window should be SEPT to AUG....or US memorial day weekend (may 20ish to the middle of the following may.
based on that DAD will be 6th/7th behind:
spiderman
LORT TTT
harry potter 2
star wars II
monsters inc....
....and likely ahead of MIB 2 which grossed 424.6 mil world- wide

ps
getting sick of the nit pickers who go by a specific end date (eg dec 31) and who look at US domestic gross only
bond is a WORLDWIDE brand with, HISTORICALLY, 63-67 percent of its total gross coming from beyond US "domestic" (ie US and Canada) and should be seen as such
just get the square head out of your ***** and look at the big picture during the flicks ENTIRE INTERNATIONAL run

Like it or not the box office charts are historically recorded for the calendar years. People in years to come will likely be under the mistaken impression that Scooby Doo beat DAD, since Scooby collected all of its box office gross in the year 2002 whereas DAD's box office was split between 2002 and 2003.

i'm canadian....the US is our greatest ally....if not for britian and america, the world would have been a worse place after 1945.
i digress...bond will come in 6th globally...pretty damn good for the 20th picture in a 40 year franchise
