Kristatos is not as menacing as other Bond villians but I like him cause he is like Bond swave, smart, and classy. Having those traits makes Kristatos my second fav villian in the series, after 006 of course, 006 was Bonds equal in my opinion and Sean Bean is a cool actor.

I think you are absolutely right. Kristatos was charming, menacing, crafty and cool....in short, a perfect Bond villian.

I don't understand either why folks don't like him. Was it because he didn't have any plans to take over the world? Well, that just made him more realistic, which totally fit in with the tempo of FYEO. FYEO was a very down to earth movie, about an aging Bond who can still play the game with his wits and fists and without over the top special effects.

He's a more human than most other Bond villians and that alone almost makes him more menacing at times. To me, FYEO is the most realistic of any of the Bond flicks, very underrated.

Kristatos was a laid back guy.. not your usual nut !! he was kinda cool

compared to the other pyschos who dared to phuck with Roger

I am sure he was written that way to be more in keeping with the overall tone of the movie. Essentially Kristatos was a mercenery doing it purely for the money.

How come the Russians always had such good help??
