As for Casino Royale, I travelled to London for the week of the premier (FUN!). Not only did I get to see Daniel Craig walk the red carpet, I managed to squeeze 2 screenings of the film in during my short time there!
Then, upon my return home, I purchased 2 tickets to the advanced screening of CR at Hoyts Melbourne Central on Wednesday 6th December. This was only available for VISA Card holders. I also saw the film at Hoyts Eastland (Ringwood) on the official Australian release date, the day after.

Just came back from the Designing 007 exhibition at the Melbourne Museum. Glad I went. Great to see all the stuff I've seen from the movies in person. No photography was allowed inside, but got a photo next to the DB5, Lazenby's DBS and the frozen Boris. At the store I grabbed the Designing 007 book, a mug, pen and Lotus Esprit car. If in Melbourne, go!

I'm also from Melbourne and went to the Designing 007 exhibit on the weekend. It was well worth it. The main dissapointment for me was that there weren't any bond 'casual' outfits - mostly just tuxedos and a few sporty type stuff for him. Overall though it was quite good. The shop itself is fairly overpriced - I would have bought the designing 007 book too if I didn't already have the 007 archives book. Instead, I bought the Thunderball novel as i'd not read that particular one yet.
Also I got the same three photos - the DB5, the OHMSS DBS and Frozen Boris!
