The Man With The Golden Gun will go to air continuing Ten's run of James Bond flicks at 8:30pm Saturday.

Then, following the late news, Casino Royale will air at 11:35pm.

For those who haven't seen it [lucky you!], the movie will either put you to sleep or keep you awake, wondering who could come up with such trash. Have a tape of a classic Bond film ready to whack in afterwards.

Either way, it's worth checking out once to see this oddball adaption of Ian Fleming's first 007 adventure, even if you will regret it afterwards. Could be worse - - you could have bought it. *slaps forehead*

Ouch. Does anyone know if the DVD version out now comes with the 1954 television special like it does in the states?

You know, even these days, when I close my eyes, I sometimes see snippets of "Casino Royale" in my mind's eye. Some things you just cannot un-see. Jimmy Bond, indeed.
