Ok, most people are talking about the obvious choices to play 007:
Clive Owen, Jeremy Northam, but apart from the obvious choices, I have to throw in some left field choices to hear your opinions.
I know its not gonna happen but:
James Purefoy (Resident Evil, a bit rough i know, but he has the hard edge of Fleming's Bond like Dalton)
Clive Robertson (Sunset Beach, a little too unknown, he has only ever done one film, but i think he could make an all-rounder like Brosnan)
Jude Law (Talented Mr. Ripley, a bit of a doe eyed Brit packer, maybe a bit too feminine, a little too good an actor?)
Well thats all i can think of, i know it aint gonna happen, maybe if EON hit their head before the contract signing........
Left Field Choices, It Wont Happen but....

I've seen Purefoy touted before. I think Eon have tested him.
I think he certainly has potential after seeing him in A Dance to the Music of Time.
Jude Law is, I feel, too pretty and too physically slight.
In Australia, Clive Robertson is the name of a middle-aged and curmugeonly radio personality. Don't s'pose it's the same chap.
