I have to say, this image has grown on me. Anyone know of any truth to the rumor that the smoke rising from the barrel was supposed to reveal a half profile of Pierce? I recall reading something to that effect on one of the sites after the poster was released.
Good catch Zencat.

I also hate the garish '007' which touches every novelisation and screams 'It's Bond, you jerk!' as if we were all morons who only looked at books for their covers.

LOL! I think it would be great if they actually wrote that on the cover. How's about "It's Bond, You Jerk!" for the next book title?Originally posted by General Koskov
Ah, how I wish MGM would let Benson write a book first, and a worthless piece of promo **** second (haven't read DAD, but according to my recollection of TND and TWINE...).
I also hate the garish '007' which touches every novelisation and screams 'It's Bond, you jerk!'...

Aww...
I also have GoldenEye proof art with cover art showing Pierce with long hair and bread.
That one would be pretty cool to track down someday. Did they do any special proofs for the Tomorrow Never Dies or The World is not Enough novelizations?
