Did you perchance catch the special that was on after Licence to Kill called Die Another Day - Shaken & Stirred on Ice?

If so, what'd you think?

I thought it was okay, but I'd seen better ones on MTV earlier.

Sunday 22nd...that makes it a doubly good day...my early 18th Birthday party! :)

that shaken and stirred on ice documentary reminded me a lot of the Bond down the river documentary from the TWINE dvd. i bet it was done by the same people.

I did indeed catch it. It looked truncated for some reason, since it really only concentrated on the ice palace and car chase.

I hope the Channel 7 offering will be better.

I'm not taping these docos this time since I know they'll probably be on the DVD>

Then again, the Aussie shown docos for GE and TND weren't on the DVD (and were of higher quality too)

I don't think it's showing that time any more. Anyone have some info on it, looks to me like 7 has changed it.

According to TV Guide which came today, it's still showing, but Seven's website says otherwise.

Hope we get to see it!

Typical, apparently it's not on now, according to our newspaper, the "Television Changes" (not present at time of TV guide going to print)are The Sum of Us is now on at 10:30 (delete DAD doco). It's just like Channel 7 to screw this up, why not give 10 the privelige of showing it?

It doesn't say when it will be on now, but I'm guessing maybe next Sunday, otherwise not at all.

Cheerio,
Chris.

Farking Hell, Channel 7 goes, "Due to technical" error/problem they can't show it, and show some Aussie drama.

Farking Hell.

Personally, I think Channel 7 hates our guts...or maybe Elliot Carver owns the network.

They probably thought they'd pull in more ratings showing the Aussie drama.

Sigh......

Technical problem!? What the!?

Instead they think it's fitting to show us a dodgy Australian movie which is "brought to us by" Die Another Day.

Sure, I'll watch it! :)

Yeah, if i was the marketing ppl behind DAD I'd be calling 7 for free air time after this **** up. Seriously what were they thinking? Technical difficulty? What didn't someone bring the tape back to 7 HQ?

No sign of it on the horizon - - going all the way up to and including next Sunday.

They'd better show it soon, whilst the movie is still a huge hit here.

i doubt they'll show it at all now, they've left it too late. this is just one of the many reasons why i hate channel seven

Exactly.

All the other films had the making of docos BEFORE the film actually premiered in Australia.

Definitely ticks me off.
And the one from Channel 10 was severely short too.

Not happy~!!!!!!!!!!

Another thing that ticks me off is how Channel 7 managed to screen a few seconds of the documentary whilst the commentator stated that it wouldn't be shown.

As if they didn't have the tape if they could manage a few seconds of it.

It's not as if they make these annoucements before hand for every show?!

Well it certainly was awful! Put a real dampner on my party spirit, but hey, I managed to enjoy myself all the same. Drown my sorrows with good company, and a lot of chocolate!

Indeed it was awful. Here I was, putting the tape in to record it and then wacked in the face with the most insulting announcement ever.

Oh well, it's probably going to be on the DVD......

I think we'll definitely see Shaken & Stirred On Ice on the DVD as it was a "Special Treats" production, who had a documentary on the TWINE DVD.

With any luck, we'll get The Bond Essentials as well.

If it's going to be a 2 disc DVD then it's most likely going to be on there.

I hate Channel 7 now.
