I'm against having Bond actors, 2 or more in one film, all that stuff about Connery playing Bond's father, don't know, if they could explain it, in a clever way.

But I like the idea of Bond having a brother he didn't know about, he went a different root, now since were suppose to relate to his brother in some way, being like Bond, Timothy Dalton playing Timothy Bond, brother of James Bond, older brother, in a lifestyle of a Bond villian, and well of cource he's ploting something deadly, and M sends Bond to stop Timothy Landrew(alias name).

Tim would be a great bad guy, yet as he's been Bond, being Bond's brother, would make it more realistic in relating to him. And he would be such a person now, he would be Bond's mirror image, like Sanchez, exploring the roots of Flemming, Casino Royale, but being his brother, it makes it the most dearing and emotional mission for Bond, and audiences could relate to that, Bond must kill his brother etc.

Brosnan vs Dalton, would be cool.

What if evilBond won? I know a lot of people who would prefer Dalton back.

We could have Lazenby as the crazy old uncle, Sean Connery as grandpa, Roger Moore as the family clown...

Maybe it would be a stand off, a different ending, no one wins, Bond lets him get away, Alec in GE, Bond always put the mission before his friends, but what about family, I would like to know that, since he's not suppose to have any relations, if one poped up, what would his state of mind be in.

Well, I somehow don't see that happening, although it is an interesting idea. If it is presented well, then maybe I could see it happening. I just don't know how many Bond fans would like the idea of Bond having a brother he never knew about.

More like Roger Moore the Fat Dirty Old Man clown! Ha Ha!

However, I do think the idea of Bond having a evil older brother would be cool. You could really dive into his past.....

I can see it now....in the climatic battle....

(older) Bond: You know mom liked me better.

OR

(older) Bond: How does it feel not to have known your parents?
James Bond: I dont know....
(older) Bond, quickly: Well I do...
James pushes him into something that colapses and falls on his brother
James Bond: I'm crushed.

Well, what would be interesting about Bond having an evil brother is that perhaps that's his motivation for being in the service, whether he knows or not (could be subconsious). I'm trying to come up with a novel, and in it, one of the hero characters became a spy mostly because his older brother became a terrorist. I think that throws and interesting aspect to the character.

Dalton will be Brosnan's clone! That's it, I got it. The next one will be called Nemesis! I like it already.

I respect your opinion but pray it never happens. I don't want to see another "personal" aspect for a few films and I definately don't want to see Bond's past rewritten.

I'd like to see Connery as a villain...

Of course it will never happen because Connery hates EON these days.

I'm with you PaulZ, we don't need to get anymore "personal" for now. Maybe they could have connery, dalton, moore, ect., make a cameo appearance, but no major role.

Yes, please. No more "personal" storylines. Let's have a nice cut-and-dried mission for a change.

I could stand another personal Bond plot (I'd rather not though), but I don't like the evil brother idea. If Bond were to have a brother (which I am against) he should be of the Mycroft Holmes type. The evil brother plot has been done to death and generally comes off looking like hack script writing. (Although I will admit that Star Trek V's villain of Spock's evil brother was superbly done despite being in a rancid film.)

So, Roger Moore won't be in the film as Bond's long-lost cousin, Beau?
