Actually it isn't and wasn't meant to be. It was the wrong 'smilie' I clicked by accident. Sorry. I meant having her as a reference to being On Her Majesty's Secret Service.
Welshcat,
I removed the smilie from your post. No need to have anyone else confused by your erroneous emoticon. You can make this sort of change yourself if you click the 'Modify' button that accompanies your post should you ever have a similar error.

I think if they are in Bond's office, a picture of Q. would be great, as would a picture of Queen Elizabeth II.
But Tracy...no. Bond may be fond of his ladies, but his actual dealings with them he keeps private -- note the look he gives Moneypenny when she mentions Paris Carver in "TND."
I am with MBE with this. I think Bond's love for Tracy is something he would keep private. He might have a photo at home, but I doubt it would be on display. It would be a drawer where he would see it now and again. And I certainly don't think he would have one in his office. That's too much of a public declaration of his pain and ultimately, one of his few failures.

Your probably right. He really doesn't reflect back on his loves.

In a modern MI6 HQ I'd expect to see "government issue" abstracts adorning the walls, must like in any office one would visit nowadays.
If Bond were to hang up any pictures as a personal touch, I think they would be of the Carribean, his favourite haunt.
And to brighten up an otherwise typically drab government office.

Why the hell is that funny!

It might even be interesting to see a picture of Dame Dianna Riggs on his office wall or desk too.
I had the same thought. In the latest video on the official site, Brosnan mentions the numerous "nods" to past films in DAD. Surely some reference, however fleeting, to Tracy should be among these "nods"...

That would be cool and quite funny. But it would never happen - wouldn't it?

oh, well i think Desmond Lewellyn would be the perfect picture.
I agree...I think Q.'s picture would be perfect, as long as it is one where Q. is yelling at Bond for breaking something. For example, Q. holding a fishing rod, that James Bond somehow managed to wreck!
A serious, posed photo, might be too sentimental.

Again, my condolances for her loss.
A photo of Stephanie Zimbalist will only work for those old enough to remember that PB had a career before Bond. And, evidently, there a few out there that don't.
A photo of all four and the thief (yes, that is sarcasm), together would be cool, and goes along with my personal theory that James Bond is as much a code name as 007 is a code number. For the record though, I don't think there are too many of all five, because GL doesn't like the other four. ;-)
