Elements of LTK came from Casino Royal, Dalton and Davi talked about Sanchez being the mirror image of Bond. Same with Scaramang in Goldengun, dark twisted side of Bonds, I do see that approach coming back, just don't know when, but its a dependable fanchise, likely to cross that path again in a unigue way.

I actually think Chow Yun Fatt playing a killer with a conscience would work well with Bond, he's done it with The Killer and some other films, and could create a mega villian, mirror image of Bond, the best in Bond, just that the guy is so cool, he would be the Asian Bond, and steal the limelight, but if they gave Brosnan and Fatt breathing space, could be mega, but thats a wish dream for now.

Imagine the marketing, Brosnan's Bond, meets his match, Chow Yun Fatt the killer with a conscience, are they enemies, do their paths have some common ground, they will go at each other, killer vs killer, I think Chow's a actor who can make his character a villian you root for, and Bond you like, would create a damn good story, Bond see's himself more in the villian, and he acts out in appreciation while not being weak in anything.
I just think Pierce's 5th, now that he's mega popular, should do something unigue, it can't be following the formula of many Bond films, it's got to be Pierce and Flemmish, play the character the best he can, set pierces and action always dies another day, but story and character like LTK and TLD are eternal.

Sounds interesting. Seeing as how 'following the formula' didn't really work in DAD, I think we ought to give this a shot.

Cheers General. I wish in a way I was involved in Bond and Cubby when was alive gave me powers to suggest ideas to the producers, hehe, sometimes as a fan, the sky's the limit with ideas.

Were all pretty protective of Bond, and want to see it going in interesting directions yet being faithful to the roots, Bond 21 I just want to be a great story, and Pierce deserves something special if its his last, writers and actor/producers will need to find a good balance, goodluck to them.
