Could somebody help me out here? My brother has just started reading Casino Royale and is loving it so much he wants to go through all of the original books. Now I currently only have 3 of them - Casino Royale, LIve and Let Die & Moonraker and I believe these to be the first 3 published books. I would be extremely grateful if one of you better informed dudes could post a full chronological list of Flemings Bond books or a link to a good site to find this. My thinking is that my bro might by the rest of the books so that I can read them without using my own hard earned dosh!!!

I've only read Casino Royale and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I do plan to get LALD and then after I've finished that get MR etc. until I've read them all.

Interesting Literary 007 website. I wish the webmaster at that site went into greater detail about his story placement methods than simply saying he got his info from the stories themselves and has been working on his chronology for a long time. I wonder if the chronicler got any of his timeline from Pearson's "fictional biography" of James Bond, which I recently ordered used from an Amazon bookseller. I'm not sure if I should read the bio before I work my way through the Fleming books, though!
I recently finished Casino Royale and am looking forward to reading LALD this weekend.
Note my post about the Penquin Classics edition collecting FRWL, DN, and GF, if you want those in a handy volume.

Don't read the biography first as it will give away the plots to the unread novels. Do read it afterwards though. It is good, in my opinion.
