Kevlar's posting of TIME IS THE ENEMY gave me a swift kick up the rear and has inspired me to start, properly this time, writing the script for my outline A KISS OF DANGER. In it, you'll find track listings, these were the chapter titles when it was going to be a novelisation, but now I've got a few ideas for tracks in my head ( based on the TND, TWINE and DAD soundtracks - Jinxed Again is akin to Iced Inc. from DAD ) and, without further ado ...GUN BARREL ...

EXT. SPACE

The camera pans across outerspace to reveal ... Earth ... but, more
important, is a hi-tech satellite orbiting the planet ...

Blam !

A chunk of debris spirals away from the satellite. The satellite itself
begins to loose altitude, descending into the atmosphere ...

EXT. MI6 HEADQUARTERS

A generic view, looking across the Thames at the futuristic building.

INT. SITUATION ROOM

We follow Moneypenny (Samantha Bond) as she enters the room,
crossing to M (Judi Dench) and handing the older woman a file.

M:
Thankyou.

M flicks through the file for a beat, then looks up at Moneypenny.

M:
Where's 007 ?

MONEYPENNY:
He's just dropping in on our Mexican friends ...

EXT. SEAKING HELICOPTER - NIGHT

The helicopter hovers in the sky and the door opens. A figure, in
a black jumpsuit, crash helmet and parachute, stands in the door.

SUPER: MEXICO

A second figure, in military fatigues, looks at a monitor and then
at the first figure, then nods. The first figure jumps out ...

... and plummets towards the ground.

We cut to inside the crash helmet and see a night-vision view of
a sprawling complex in the middle of nowhere. A sigil flickers in
the corner of the screen ... 0 ... 0 ... 7 ...

The figure pulls his rip cord, the parachute erupts from the pack
and the descent is slowed.

INT. TERRORIST COMPLEX

A soldier walks past the camera, we follow and see him enter a
control room with banks of monitors and keyboards.

We briefly cut to inside the crash helmet again and see the sigil
flashing ... and ...

CONTROL (VO):
Silent Night is a go.

... the lights of the complex go out. Back in the control room, it
looks like every single screen has been filled with static. Those
soldiers we saw before yell, at each other, in Mexican ...

EXT. TERRORIST COMPLEX

The figure pulls a tag and the parachute falls away from him as
he smashes through a sky light and into ...

INT. TERRORIST COMPLEX

... a storage bay. Racks of equipment, weapons and explosives,
line the walls, illuminated, as if the rest of the complex by a few
emergency lights, The figure crouches on the floor and removes
the crash helmet to reveal ...

JAMES BOND, 007 (Colin Farrell)

.. and Bond quickly cocks his gun and moves towards the door.

( Jinxed Again begins to play )

We cut to a new area of the complex and see a compact bomb
being attached to a drum of petrol, lined up near several others.
A detonator is attached to it ... and a gloved hand looks down
at a watch and sets the time ... three minutes ...

In another area of the complex, a soldier, carrying a rifle, walks
down a corridor. BLAM ! The soldier falls to the floor. Bond drops
from an overhead vent, looks round and walks off ...

... yet again, in another area, two guards walk down a corridor.
A grenade rolls to a stop in front of them, detonates and fills the
corridor with gas. A laser sight pierces the gas ...

... close on a closed door, it opens and Bond steps through. He
is immediately pinned down by gunfire, hiding behind a crate so
he can take shots at his attackers. He fires off several shots ...
and, believing his attackers dead, he emerges from behind his
crate, he comes face to face with the barrel of a gun ... but he
smiles at his attacker, raising his hands in surrender ...

BOND:
Fare be it from me to surrender ...

... the attacker's finger tightens on its trigger ...

BOND (CONT'D):
... to the charms of a beautiful woman ...

BLAM ! The attacker falls to the floor and Bond looks up at ...

JINX (Halle Berry)

... and smiles.

BOND (CONT'D):
... but in your case, Agent Johnson, I'll make an
exception.

Bond and Jinx kiss passionately but briefly. The duo make their
way towards the door ... and the proper lights start to flicker
and, one by one, they illuminate ...

... in another section of the corridor, the light flicker on ... and,
back in the control room, the security monitors come back to life.

We close on a screen which shows Jinx walking down a corridor,
towards the control centre itself ...

GUARD (in Mexican):
Seal the doors ...

... another guard rushes to lock the control centre door and he
is blown off his feet as the door explodes inwards. And, as the
dust from the explosion settles, the remaining guard looks up to
see Bond stepping through the doorway.

BOND
You were expecting somebody else ?

Bond shoots the remaining guard and Jinx follows Bond into the
control room. Bond removes his mobile phone, slides out a cable
from the false back and inserts it into the computer ...

Close on the mobile phone monitor, we can see DOWNLOAD IN
PROGRESS ... 10 % ... 20 % ... 30 % ... and so on ...

Jinx keeps watch on the control room door.

Close on the phone monitor ... 70 % ... 80 % ... 90 % ... then ...
DOWNLOAD COMPLETE.

Bond pulls the cable out of the computer and slips the phone in
his pocket. He turns to Jinx ...

JINX:
Time to go.

Cut to shots of Bond and Jinx running down corridors, shooting
at guards. They eventually enter a storage bay and they're both
confronted by a pair of guards ...

Bond and Jinx exchange a look.

JINX:
I'll tale the high road ...

Bond smiles and nods.

BOND:
And I'll take the low road ...

Bond and Jinx roll into action, each attacking a guard, but with
their own individual moves. Jinx uses a form of kung fu but Bond
goes in for heavy punches before finally taking out the guards
by firing at a petrol cannister ... and it explodes over them ...

Bond and Jinx arrive, breathless, at a jeep.

BOND (CONT'D):
But I'll still get to Scotland before ye'.

Jinx laughs and climbs into the jeep. Bond gets into the drivers
side. Jinx turns, fires her gun at the controls and the door starts
to open ...

Cut to a close on a countdown ... 10 ... 9 ... 8 ... 7 ...

Bond guns the jeep into gear and blasts out of the complex and
into the desert. The complex explodes in a spectacular fireball ...

INT. JEEP

Bond slows the jeep and swings it round to face the fireball. He
laughs and turns to Jinx ...

BOND:
Well, I always did like an 'explosive' relationship.

Jinx, too, laughs and leans across towards Bond as they kiss as
we slowly fade to ...

... a bullet ripples across the screen, from left to right, the ripples
turning from the action in the jeep to the usual display of women
and guns ...

COLIN FARRELL
As
Ian Flemming's James Bond
In
A KISS OF DANGER

... the title sequence consists of women, guns, explosions, digital
clocks counting down (stop at 007 secs) and celestial objects.

After credits, we fade in on ...

EXT. CONFERENCE CENTRE

A renaissance building of the type usually found on the continent.
