This kind of freaked me out today. I bought TLD on DVD a long time ago but never watched it. That is very odd because it is one of my absolute favourite Bond movies. I remember purchasing it and wanting to go right home so I could watch it, but then I don't remember what happened. All this talk in the forum made my look at my Bond colllection (which is incomplete - I am missing 6) and sure enough there it was, still in its bloody shrink wrap. How could this have happened? I bought TMWTGG and DN recently and watched them immediately. Strange, no?

BTW I watched the Sam Neil screen test and he was pretty good. Shame he didn't get a chance.

Also, does anyone know when the next wave of Bond DVDs will be available?

Yeah, I thought Sam Neil did a fine job in his screen test. The Living Daylights is my favorite Bond flick, and I've had it for a while (in my complete Bond DVD collection, hahaha)

I'm not sure when the next wave of Bond DVDs is coming... maybe Spring?

I got all three box sets when they came out, but come next May or June there will not be a spot for DAD. :)

I understand that everyone but Cubby were keen on Sam Neill. I certainly feel he'd have been good. I wonder why Cubby nixed him.

I thought he was pretty good, but Dalton was better for the part.

Wait a minute, Sam Neill? He was considered for the role of 007?!

Whoa, I didn't know that. I liked him in Jurassic Park. He had a particular charisma. But him as Bond? I don't know....

Sam Neill himself didn't really want to be there or himself wanted the Bond role, I think the best chance in Sam being involved is a Bond villian, he'll be great at that.
