I would have to agree about this. I think that Bond's sex shoudl be left to our imagination. On-screen passions between Bond and Halle Berry are taking the sex-scenes too far. If such scenes continue to appear in the films, we oucld have to dela with R ratings.

Did the love scene with Bond and Jinx bother you?

"His scene with Miranda was just disturbing. Seeing her slip off her dress in front of a man old enough to have fathered her was too much for me."
Solitaire, I'm not flaming you, but I really want to know, are you a guy or a girl? If you were a girl, I'd understand why you'd be disturbed by such a thing. But, the last I checked, the Bond movies are still largely male fantasy and part of that fantasy is his hold on women regardless of his age. Bond's being with much younger women is certainly nothing new to the series - the Roger Moore movies come to mind. If that's not the best example, consider that Pierce Brosnan was also much older than Denise Richards and - for that matter - most of the Bond girls of recent years.
In fact, I must say that this overconcern with age difference is a relatively recent phenomenon. Large age differences between men and women were once quite common. I'm still fairly young yet but I think it's a needless concern; if two people are consenting adults who cares what they do?

When one of the couple (usually the man) is old enough to be his lovers dad,I find that a turn off. Of course Bond is a male fantasy (hetersosexual male fantasy) but why is he rarely paired with a beautiful sexy woman of his own age? On the whole,I find this aspect of the Bond films to be a sad commentary on the male middle age ego. I'm a guy (seems you forgot) btw.

Because it's aimed to be appreciated by younger heterosexual males. And does it disgust me that someone is older then the other? Hell no. That's real life. I know 14 year olds who'd bonk Pierce if they could. These things happen daily. The character was well over a consenting age so why there is a problem with that I really can't imagine.

Yes Rosamond Pike is but 24 years old. But who cares, she could pass for being 30 and she is so hot and I loved that scene with her and just wish they would have had the big sex scene with Bond and Frost and not Bond and Jinx. The sex scene with Bond and Jinx was ok, but what startled me most was when I heard that Jinx choked on the Fig she was eating and Bond had to get behind her and force it out. True story, for those of you who dont know.
