I have had a Skyfall theatrical standee outside of my home theatre room for years now, but we just moved and despite the fact that we are in a larger home now, the layout of the house gives me no place to put it anymore. I tried to find anyone local to take it, but none of my friends have room for it, and I have gotten no responses on Craigslist, either. I hate to have to throw it away, but I need to get it out of my garage as soon as possible. I am not going to ship it anywhere, but if there are any forum members in central Minnesota/western Wisconsin who would have interest in it, please let me know. I live in western Wisconsin about forty minutes northeast of the Twin Cities.
I had to partially dismantle it just to get it out of the old house -- it is indeed huge! Right now all of the backing pieces are off, with the base and the main supports intact. But the base of course can also be disassembled to lay everything flat. I transported it from the theatre in the back of a pickup truck with a topper, with everything laid flat. But if you have a full-sized van, you could probably fit the base in there with no need for further disassembly. Some assembly skills required, needless to say!
